    Negosyante ka nga boss! Hehehe!

Anyway, lahat naman ng sinasabi ko dito eh based on my experience. Kumbaga advice lang naman. You alone ang makakaalam kung applicable sa yo at pwede mo gawin. I am not a seasoned businessman. And every comment here is like an advice for me. I still am asking for advices sa mga tao which i consider na mas experienced sa akin.

Syempre, i scrutinize every advice kung ano ang pros and cons at kung applicable sa akin. Siguro yan yun isa sa mga pinakaimportanteng advice na maiishare ko. You have to analyze it yourself kung pwede sa yo at applicable yun mga advice na natatanggap mo. Then you have to implement.

Kaya ko din sayo-- inaadvice na mag agente ka muna-- it's because Ang pera NASA sales---

And we all started from being an agent--

Wala naman akong alam sa sales, coz for 18years I work in the judiciary-- my eldest 23 years old was the first-- she already have her own bus.-- my 2 hipag is just a plain house wife, pero in just a little over a year she was able to buy her own car 1.5M worth-- then the next year her own house thru loan-- and my daugther ganun din nakabile na din ng sarileng car and now nagpapatayo na ng house nya.. My 2nd hipag who is also a house wife, sya Yung pinaka huli na sumubok mag agent-- 1st sale nya I think 6 months ago.. Now She Is seriously considering in buying her 1st car na AGad... Kaso Lang super kuripot...

agree. i've also known insurance agents who are millionaires now.
good thing about sales is that your income is directly proportional to the effort thrown into closing an account.... much more if you have lots of accounts. pag masipag ka, laki kita mo.... pag tamad ka, nganga ka.

and not to mention.... sales is the lifeblood of every business. walang benta, walang negosyo. by being in sales, you learn the ropes at the same time earning. pag nakaipon na then put your own and get people to do the selling for you.

Sample Lang po sir.. Yung Isang agent nakuha Nyang account Jollibee-- ang commision nya per unit is only 15k per unit-- super liit na Itong commission.. Imagine ang unit na kailangan ng jollibee for the next 5-7years is 5000 gensets..!! Just do the math-- ang problema mo nalang Dyan-- is paninigil at sobrang tagal magbayad ng jollibee-- and syempre after sales-- Pero, ️pwede ka pa din kumita sa after sales-- kahit once a year Lang ang PMS-- kitang kita ka na Dyan.. Pero sure ako hindi mo na papansinin ang after sales at kulang na Oras mo--

Just dont fall into the trap of analysis paralysis. Enjoy lang sa business adventure kahit mahirap. Matalo man, at least you learned and enjoyed the ride. But by just taking the first step, panalo ka na. Goodluck! May you be successful!

yup I agree. sabi nga e. if your dreams don't scare the sh!t out of you, you're not dreaming big enough. No one's saying maging Gung ho ka, pero you cannot create experience, you must undergo it. equal parts be smart, be brave.

    +100.
as they say, you will never learn until you are there.
and the person who has not taken the risk is worse than the person who failed lots of times but have taken the risk.

    experience is the best teacher.

kami ni misis, on our first business venture, lost around 300k. and 300k was worth a lot that time. we took it with a grain of salt and said it was our tuition fee.

When we started our business, i tried to analyze a lot! As in, everything! And all i saw were the all the difficulties. I wanted to be efficient with our time, effort, and money.
My wife was just focus on task. She just wanted to be effective. Just get things done. Looking back, if she didnt start any tasks, we will still be at square one. I guess action is better than nothing. We made wrong decision but still we were moving. You will never see everything what lies ahead. Just like you headlights. But just inch closer and closer, you will see more what is ahead. Business is always a journey. Not a destination. Walang finish line. Just keep moving. Or walking. Kampay!

May pera talaga sa sales. Bukod sa regular salary may commision ka pa.. pero talent din kasi ang bibinta. Hindi ito para sa lahat..

there are lots of books available and you cannot get everything in just one or even five books. experience is still the key, and proper wisdom.
try the books of John Maxwell. Not that business oriented but it would give you the wisdom on how to do it.

another good reference site is Harvard Business Review, but madaming articles and as i've said, hindi mo sya makukuha basta basta on reading books. every business has lots of aspects into it and each aspect can give so much information.

Gotta start somewhere though...i'm in the same boat as ts and looking at books available in nbs since that is the most accessible. Not sure if that is the best first step though...

no need for books. just go to Entrepreneur - Start, run and grow your business. and Harvard Business Review.
however, the best start is to start it with someone who has more experience than you. Go into a partnership with friends and family and start a small one.

Noted, thanks! One of the challenges is that i come from a family who is as clueless as i am and it makes the struggle all the more difficult. Friends naman, ayokong maging pabigat. pakiramdam ko kasi parang linta magiging dating ko knowing that i have very little to bring into the table-if any at all! Hahahaha. But i acknowledge entrepreneurship is the way to go so might take up reading first at least hindi clueless at may konting balang dala sa giyera.

Books are helpful. The knowledge will give you guidelines about putting up and operating your business. Just add some common sense so you could adjust your processes, policies, etc.. to fit your growing business....

If you're clueless, don't go into business.
