    So my former boss was right. Wala talaga habol.

    Kung employees yan like what has been mentioned pwede nga i neg bal. Pero kung depositor lang tapos zinero out account wala ng habol yan. Kung maliit na amount (eg 100k) masyado tedious habulin yan. Sa CC mga write off na ang amount na di mabayaran e

    wala naman nakapag withdraw today nang ganyan kalaking halaga.. as they said you can only withdraw 20K max sa regular ATM nang BPI.. and nung pumutok yan kanina sarado pa banko so walang naka pag over the counter..

    Sabi ng former boss ko wala talaga habol. Kahit si Conzing nung tinanong sa ANC di niya masagot :P Sabi niya possible legal action, e lugi pa sila kung mag legal action sila sa P20k na amount :P

    Ang lagot yung mga payroll account na nag withdraw. I agree with Vinj na dapat mag HR sanction kasi it showed lacked of integrity.

    Yes, theft yan. Maliit lang talaga amount minsan ng CC overdue kaya hindi na kakaauhan. Mas magastos pa. Sa withdraw mo na hindi dapat, kung maliit lang say less P20K hindi ka din siguro kasuhan pero definitely your credit standing with other banks will alao suffer. Imagine the consequences if you do not return the money. Mas kawawa ka in the end for sure.

    Haven't backread yet so I don't know if this has been asked and answered, pero online banking accounts lang ba affected? Or pati ATM-only accounts? Di ko pa kasi na-eenroll sa online banking yung akin, at hindi ko pa rin nachecheck laman nung ATM.

    AFAIK, ATM only accounts are affected in the sense that you cannot use ATM machines to transact (i.e. withdraw, balance inquiry, etc.) today, or until they solve the probllem.

    I meant if ATM-only accounts (like mine-- ATM only, no CC, no online banking) were also affected by the dagdag-bawas situation. I couldn't check my balance na eh when I tried, service unavailable daw, so I have no idea what happened to my deposits.

    Yan una kong naisip. Unang hingi ng hospital initial deposit. Pano kung walang cash at BPI lang ang account at credit card.

    Inter-branch transactionas are also affected. You can only do over the counter transactions in the branch where you opened your account. However you cannot update your passbook or check your balance.

    This means you can withdraw at your branch of account, presumably because they know your "real" balance?

    How is that possible that your branch of account knows your true balance?

    Don't they rely also on HQ to give them the real picture about your account?

    Malaki din magiging negative implication nito sa bank itself.

    Marectify man yung situation, madaming mag pupull out ng money nila at ililipat sa ibang bank. Dahil sa takot na maulit nanaman yung pagkakamaling to.

    Surprisingly none of my friends are thinking of closing their account with BPI. It's still better than BDO or Metro daw.

    If it is a payroll account, it would not be that quick to switch banks. Lots of documentary requirements plus board resolution to open another account. Plus you have to manage the administration and employee communication.

    I only meant my friends with personal savings. Majority kasi samin nasa BPI din ang personal savings.

    Surprisingly wala pa statement HR namin e lahat dito BPI pinaguusapan

    Mas malaki chance mawalan sila ng mga account holders kung alam nilang na-hack talaga hehe.

    Its already near 4. Hanggang ngayon la padin online. I bet they dont have a rollback procedure in place. Or none understands the script that they ran. Lol.
