Precisely ... they just won't admit they were hacked ... pity the IT team that will be used as a scapegoat ... the problem with their system started months ago ... their system was offline more frequently than usual ...

But how can they explain yun na credit na millions and billions sa ibang account kung totoo man. Eh mukhang ordinary account lang Naman mga yun.

Sabi pala nun VP sa presser. "Someone must have touched something" Anong klaseng explanation yan. 🤣

It's an understatement to say that it was a huge screw up. Mukhang marami na credit ng millions. Officemate nga namin 8M balance kaninang umaga.

We do not know who is telling the truth bro. Baka sinakyan lang ung issue. Amount that large would need a corresponding offset in sombody else's account. Just imagine the reaction of that person who got deducted by millions of pesos. Now if someone is trying to dispose a big amount of money to clear a huge questionable balance (kay binay or kay digong) then baka un na un!

You can withdraw and deposit only at the branch you opened your account. Dunno how much you can withdraw since they can't access your balance. They can't even update your passbook. You cannot transact in any ATM at all.

The probably halted interbranch connectivity as well...Only your home branch can see your real balance.

Last kong napanuod na interview sa CEO ng BPI, wala pa daw silang action plan sa mga nag withdraw ng pera na hindi sa kanila.

The CEO even mentioned na "i hope they don't spend it"

Baka nga there's not much they can do para mabawi yung pera, bukod sa nabanggit mo na negative balance thingie.
