    Bank tellers get their name from an Old English word that means "to count."

    The modern words "tell" and "teller" are both based on an Old English word, "tellan," which in turn is based on a similar Germanic cognate. The original definition of tellan was "to reckon, calculate, count, consider or account." Over time the word has evolved into "tell".

    I will NEVER bank with BDO.

    Also, BPI has online queue daw? My friends just told me about it. Basta ako, I go to the bank just before closing. 5 mins to close, no more lines

    What I don’t like about BPI is yung atm withdrawal limit. I hate lining up for OTC withdrawals lalo BPI. Pero tinanong ko kasi branch ko talagang 20k per day lang atm withdrawal? Hindi na daw pwde increase? Sa BDO ko pina max ko atm withdrawal and POS to 200k/day.

    my understanding it’s per day sir...
    For atm it varies, bet.10-20k lang per transaction depende sa bank... pag 200k di ba kakasya yata sa money dispenser heheh

    Think of it this way: the limit is for the depositor's safety. I definitely wouldn't want to wake up one day, find my atm card missing, and someone already cleaned it out.

    As for the lining up part, learn to use the online appointment of BEA. Just be in the branch at the appointed time and you'll be in and out in no time at all.

    yup, I'd prefer just doing over the counter 200k withdrawal and keep it at home, scary nga yung mataas ang limit at na hack ang pin
