Rent-a-car business(weddings)

Guys, ask ko lang what you think of having a rent a car business for weddings. kasi our family is considering starting one since may mga kotse na kami that we can use, specifically benz's. Sort of sideline business lang naman, source of extra income. We're gonna start out small naman.. Do you guys know anything bout this business? the pros and cons? the right marketing or anything that could help pls post it. we are really considering this business. thanks guys, am really hoping to get some help.

try to make partnerships with hotels and venues siguro kung gusto mo ma-market ang mga benz nyo. kasi ako package-deal nasa hotel yun lincoln . even yun mga catering, may package deal na din sa wedding car.

Advertise sa buy & sell. Pero tama yun, team up with coordinators, caterers, venues... Give them pics. Take nice pics of your cars para makita ng prospects. Tsaka who's gonna drive? You need a snappily dressed and courteous driver.

ot. where can i find stretch lincolns or cadillacs? to be used for a wedding...

ive called many bridal car agencies and all they have are sixdoor e and s class

kung sa province ang location mo, medyo madali yan epecially kung walang me ganyang business doon...

but if your location sa sa city, tama ang sabi nila, make partnership at wag lang para sa weddings also cater for debu's, formal parties, functions and the likes, and make sure you na meron kang maayos na chaffeur.....yung mabait at di bastos...

We do weddings part time pero usually sa mga kakilala. W126 Benz or the yellow Ford Convertible. Sorry, I've never really thought of it as a business. Though maraming inquiries.

invest ka sa STRETCH na HUMMER or ESCALADE... tapos the rest yun mga benzo niyo na... para may unique selling point ka... para ikaw lang yun may stretch SUV pangkasal... not just the normal limo, talagang stretch... tapos with bling blings... for your marketing, sponsor a celebrity wedding (yun ride lang ah), marami makakakita nun at magrent sa iyo...

okay na sideline iyan... the best it to work with the wedding coordinators but you can also just simply advertise sa buy and sell. marami namang kinakasal that do their arrangements on their own and they just scan the pages of buy and sell to get their wedding car service. once you get a few clients, it all boils down to service (i.e. clean car, being on time, being a safe driver, etc.) tapos word of mouth na iyan. i encourage you to try it out and give it your best..

Ours cars were borrowed na for weddings, not just as a wedding/bridal car (5 series), but also as the groom's car (GTV coupe).

So you can package your offer with that also - bride's and groom's cars - and maybe add, the parents' limo cars, para you provide for the whole entourage na.

I've seen in some movies where cars were labelled "wedding convoy or cars" in the windshield or number plate, so as to warn other motorists if you are in bit of a hurry, especially when the bride is already late. Or you can package your service with a "hagad" escort with wang-wang, he, he.

i have to agree with sir ispufi; try to tie up with wedding coordinators, etc. imho ung tipong tao who are picky about the wedding car tend to be picky about the whole wedding, hence they would seek the services of a wedding coordinator/bridal shop.
win-win situation: menos sila ng headache for the limo service, you on the other hand get more customers/exposure

imo, masyado na saturated ang benzes sa rent a car business. . .stertch limos na ang uso. . a stretch hummer would also be nice

masyado kasi malaking investment yung mga stretch limos.. we just gotta start off from what we have, then work our way from there.. sideline lang naman muna ito e.. thanks for the help guys, i really appreicate it!
