    good, you're in Japan

    grab the yellow pages

look for suppliers/exporters of automobile engines and parts

    go visit them

tell them you're looking for used engines and parts of 90's decade Toyota Corollas, Honda Civics, Mitsu Lancers etc

    also ask them about half-cuts

fill up one 20 ft container and send it here

    you're in business

... and be careful of romshi123 and Oyil ... they'll accuse you of single-handedly destroying the Philippine local car industry by your imports.

igcaquinoy, auto supply is a broad term

    there's the car accessories business

    there's the parts business

    they have entirely different suppliers

sa parts business naman, there's new parts and used parts

    entirely different din suppliers nyan

so you have to decide what you wanna get into

your business will be based on what suppliers you choose

since you're in Japan, madali maghanap ng used parts suppliers

pwede ka magparating dito sa Pinas ng used engines and parts by the van-load

all you need here is a place kung saan mo ibabagsak ang iyong kargamento

    Yup.

    Engines,

    Front cuts

    Spare parts

Yun ang mga kailangan ng mga tao dito ...

Pwede ka rin kumuha ng mga usual engine na laging in-need ...

    Like silvertop,blacktops,4g63s' etc.

Tama rin si uls, kailangan mo ng place na babagsakan.

I've entertained the idea for a while, sounds easy at first.

yes, it's not as simple as it sounds

    foreign trade na yan eh

there are a lot of things to consider

    exchange rate, shipping, taxes

sourcing the items is the easy part

suppliers will charge you for stuff on top of the price of the items

there's already added cost even before container leaves port

    then there's shipping cost

then there's added cost when the container arrives

it's more complicated than just being a retailer

if you're thinking of setting up the shop yourself or mapagkakatiwalaang kamag-anak, imo, mas ok na i-pwesto mo ang shop mo hindi sa banawe pero within metro manila pa rin

set a competitive price for your merchandises. .

lastly, i-apply mo ang natutunan mong culture of the japanese people about dedicated service towards the clients, it will set you apart at babalik-balikan ka ng target market mo. . .good luck
