Nope, the company will refer the employee to their preferred bank where their payroll system can easily be processed. The bank then tags such accounts so that they will not be charged fees if they fall below the monthly allowable daily balance. In case of separation, the employee can convert the account into a regular savings account or close it.

Correct. Nirefer lang nila kami sa bank of account. HR gave us a form to fill up and we personally went to the bank to open our accounts. I guess this means na that branch of account is responsible for replacing our cards with EMV ones. Riot yan kung sabado lang ang distribution.
Kasama sa pagpalit lately ng emv conversion ng BPI is account linkage.
They plan to make you have only one card for all your accounts.
Okay na sana yung idea except for the pre-set limits... so meaning, if you want to withdraw more than 20k, mag over the counter ka na [emoji23]🤣[emoji41]

Nasa BPI ako kanina. The RM told me na ma deactivate din daw itong EPS debit card, and only the mastercard ATM can be used.
The other RM from another branch naman, okay lang daw na yung EPS ang active basta wag i activate yung mastercard ATM para pwede pa din magwithdraw per account.
Ano ba talaga?

One reason why I keep multiple cards is because of the ATM withdrawal limit. I can't do OTC all the time as there are lots of instances where the bank is closed (weekends) or there is no bank available at all (provinces).
Buti nalang wala pang notification about my EMV card. Once it happens though, time to move some money to another bank.

BDO, standard 50k, sa BPI, you just ask your branch to raise it to 50k.
