I'm planning on setting up an Online Business. Any tips on the following aspect would be highly appreciated.

1. Earning money - via Google Adsense (how does it work) or online advertisement (pricing)

2. Webhosting - via Virtual Private Server (reliable provider).

3. Website Development/Design - i only know limited HTML.

4. ASP vs PHP

5. Any other ways to earn aside from selling merchandise only.

-- You need to have a website and place the code from Google Adsense on your website. You will earn for every click that the ads received. Invalid clicks will ban your account.

2. Webhosting - via Virtual Private Server (reliable provider).

-- This will depend on your target market. If you are just starting, siguro try mo muna kumuha ng sarili mong paid shared hosting. Medyo mahal kasi ang VPS.

3. Website Development/Design - i only know limited HTML.

-- You can outsource or use free templates

4. ASP vs PHP

-- Depende kung ano ang gagamitin mo sa website pero karamihan PHP

5. Any other ways to earn aside from selling merchandise only.

-- writing/blogging, designing, programming, virtual assistant, pay per click

for web hosting try ServInt (www.servint.net). expensive but good quality. you get what you pay for!

--Google adsense- Barya lang kikitain mo dito (as in barya, no exaggeration). Unless your website goes number 1 in google search or something near that.
Online advertising malaki kita. Depends on how popular your site is rin.

2. Webhosting - via Virtual Private Server (reliable provider).

-- Mahal toh.

3. Website Development/Design - i only know limited HTML.

-- Dami online materials

4. ASP vs PHP

-- Depends on the content. Also if you wish to incorporate e-payments, (eg. paypal, verisign, etc) mas hihirap design.

5. Any other ways to earn aside from selling merchandise only.

-- Infinite ways.

a thread about this is locked by mod, maybe others think it's an MLM but it's not. may banner ad pa nga dito sa forum eh (see sidebar)..

I have tried PTCs myself but only a standard. Some invest and earn really big, but there are some risk. like when the site is really good, it attracts hackers.

ako din tried PTCs. have 10 trusted sites. and 5 of those eh upgraded ako. ok din earnings, more or less $15 daily from PTC alone. yup there are risks. pero lahat naman ng business ventures may risk. kahit sari sari store pwede malugi. i would rather invest 500 pesos and earn a lot sa isang PTC site than invest huge amount of money and earn a little sa isang offline biz.

OT: uy yung banner ad na yan sa side bar, nagtayo ako ng grupo and tried to invite others here few weeks ago but my thread got deleted. MLM daw. ahihi

Hahaha.. nabasa ko rin yun pero locked na. Gusto ko nga ring subukan at sumali sa ClixSense eh, using the banner here in Tsikot.

Actually sinubukan ko i-click ang register to see kung kaninong banner to, kung Tsikot ang magiging upline ko, pero hindi pala tulad ng ibang PTC na magreregister ang referrer.

Pero hindi ko tinuloy dahil wifi ang gamit dito sa hotel na tinutuluyan ko (temporarily).

Btw, may Cashium ka ba? Closed na, mukhang may nayari na naman ang Paypal.

kung gusto mo itry, gamitin mo nalang link ko. or sali ka sa team namin kung willing ka mag upgrade ng clixsense account mo yearly ($10) . nyahahaha

uu meron din ako cashium, kainis pa cashout na ako ng 4th payment ko nung nagka problem PP nila. palagi nalang PP ang reason nila. hahaha
