For most of those who are employed full time, it's often still not enough to rely on just income from the job.

    Real state, insurance (pension/educ. plans).

Mga public school teacher naman, tucino, longganisa, pati pagbibenta ng ice candy during recess, ginawa na just to augment their income.

    tama -- Pets.

ako graphic artist kaya paminsan-minsan may mga nakukuha ding sideline like, posters, brochures, simple web designs, logo designs, etc.

magtulak ka ng shab... este daing, tuyo, etc from the province.

i used to work as a technical writer for hire on the side pero parang bihira na yung nangangailangan ng ganyan

depende rin yan sa kung anong mga skills meron ka. for example kung magaling kang magsulat pwede kang mag part time na writer. may mga website na pwede mong puntahan at makikita don yong mga hinahanap nila. kung minsan nga eh $ pa sweldo kung maka jackpot ka na from the US ang naghahanap!

example ng mga part time jobs: bookkeeper, graphics, web design, transcriptionist, writer, etc.

for life insurance agents, you have to be a licensed life insurance agent from the Insurance Commission. may reviews/studies/training requirements yun and you have to pass their licensing exam. this goes for both selling permanent/endowment life insurance products as well as selling variable life insurance products. iba ang licensing and examinations nila.

for real estate, pwede. but kailangan dito, magsipag for trippings, etc. kundi, wala ka ding kikitain. and considering the time of the thread starter, mukhang hindi kakayanin yan except weekends.

sa pension plans ata/educational plans, may sariling license and training requirements din ata dyan. i am not sure, ask natin si mazdamazda.

    tulad nito:

I'm looking for a ghost writer who can handle a small project. I need someone to help write the biography of my dad. The job will probably take 2 months (or less) of correspondence through email, writing and editing.

Serious applicants only. Include your expected compensation (do not ask me how much I am willing to offer. I am looking for a professional.)
    • Location: New York / Manila
    • Compensation: See text
    • Telecommuting is ok.
    • This is a part-time job.

it depends on your skills and what you are willing to do. take a look at this:

I own a restaurant and am looking for a part time graphic designer to create coupons, menus, banners, and other print products. Must be a quick worker who can stick to deadlines. Please contact me and send some samples of your work and resume.

    Thank you

Like in my case, during weekends I teach HS student. 500 for 4 hours and that's extra 2,000 a month given na yun lang ang tuturuan mo ha.

then i also do some customized jewelries, a hobby of mine and at the same time extra money.

You can also try to do freelance na real estate agent. Also event organizer.

Depends kasi sa hilig and sa skills mo, but from your skills you can maximize it and use it to earn extra money.

We used to be wedding coordinators, until one of our partners left for the States and the rest of us decided to stop altogether, para magka-baby na rin kaming mag-asawa. We also used to have a foodcart business on the side, kaya lang sadyang may kaakibat na kamalasan regarding our choice of helper, and besides, kelangan full time na tutukan yun. Pag ginaganahan, sumasali kami sa mga Christmas tiangge and garage sales.

Yan ang hobby and sideline ngayon ng misis ko, crafting various accessories such as earrings, bracelets, wedding cords and hair ornaments. Business was brisk before she got pregnant, and she aims to resume her hobby in a couple of weeks. She also does emceeing on the side (ako occasionally din). We also used to offer a bridal mannequin for rent, para sa mga wedding gowns.

Honestly, I wish I was more of a people person; marami kasing magandang sideline dyan na major requirement is maboka ka. I wanted to be a radio DJ as a sideline, kaya lang kung may opening man sa FM stations, yung mga seniors na ang makakakuha ng magagandang shifts; newbies like me will be stuck with the unholiest hours, such as the graveyard shift.

My current regular job is as a broadcast writer, but what I've always wanted to do though is voiceover work; yun ang raket ko ngayon. Laway lang ang puhunan -- literally. And the best part is, it's just within the office premises. :D
