The trick here is keeping the original car's lines and new mods clean...

By the way the Lexus IS430 project car was done by Rod Millen Special Vehicles.Originally Posted by nugundam93

the one thing i really liked about the Manila Int'l Motor show was that they were able to include the local car groups in the exhibit, kahit nasa labas lang. imho aside from showing off their cars, it brings to the attention of the general public that, uy, me ganitong club pala!
sana next time me go-kart track :D
Venue...sana meron din sa Cebu, Davao or any place outside MM. Let's give our kababayans who are outside MM a chance to see these motorshows.
new products and technologies...
fiberglass is just dumb, anyone with enough skill can whip up any design they want grrr.
I like . . . .
1. Classic cars restored - and I mean the rare ones. From a Tucker to a Jensen.
2. Concept cars - you would really want to see tomorrow's technology today
3. Test drives - Manila Motorshow gave the public a very solid feel of what to choose if they plan to buy a car.
4. Exotic cars - Lambo, Ferrari, Maserati etc.
5. Muscle cars of the 60s-70s - This is just me. I love those kind of cars.
6. Freebies and samples given away.
I don't like. .. .
1. Dressed up local cars - So what's the big deal chroming certain parts and putting LCD screens on the doors? It looks funky but its not my cup of tea. Probably because I've seen to many of them already.
2. Guys taking pictures with the promo girls - Hard to explain though.
3. When the car show has more vendors that cars - Self explanatory.
4. Venue has not enough parking space.
I think the best car show is when there is NO ENTRANCE FEE!!
Why do we have to pay anything? The advertisers should shoulder the expense since we are the potential customers. Can you just imagine how much money these organizers make??
we are just suckers going to these carshows....
Abroad, in US, UK, Australia etc.. All carshows are FREE since this is a TRADE SHOW.
An exception is the last ALL TOYOTA CARSHOW at the WTC. There was a P30 entrance fee but they give away free T-shirts, ballpens and other toyota giveaways. So in total freebees, mas mahal pa sa P30 yung binigay sa akin.

tumaas nga entrance fee to 60 petot... traffic was a killer, nasabay sa sale.
