we visited the show last sat. a visual feast indeed. these are the times when people can visit various showrooms all under one roof.
aside from the ritz and glitz of the main hall with all the beautiful cars and girls, the next thing i look forward for is the display section of restored cars. it was 9:15 pm when a bunch of us were marveling at those old glory cars w/c brings a mischievious smile on our faces. i myself was engorged in enjoying every detail of the ww2 jeep with all the bells and whilstles, and what thier purpose were.
it was 9:20 pm alright, but does the show close at 10:00 ? many paying patrons were like shown the door rather rudely when this guy, i dont know how he got the keys to a blue chevy camaro
ss, a red toyo corona exior and a 79 lancer were alternately revved hard in an airconditioned hall. revving hard with a cold engine does not help the old engines and human lungs any good.
now if this guy is tired or hungry from a long day, he should have grabbed a mike and announced that the show is closed and holler everyone out!

the blog points out "pagsasamantala"... for me "tamad lang siya mag lakad" which is also common for pinoys...

pinoys always want shortcuts... you have the choice if you will buy or not.. but still the exit is on the other side then walk through the booths then exit..

yung kasi nag nirereklamo nya.. malayo ang exit... ayaw mo pala bumili ng sabon eh di wag ka na pumasok kasi madadaanan mo nga yung tindahan ng sabon.. like for example sa supermarket pag pasok mo sabon agad ang bubungad sayo yung karne nasa dulo eh karne ang bibilhin mo bakit ka dadaan sa sabon?? gets!! ... hindi kasi pwede lahat lang eh yung gusto nyo... dun nilagay yung exit so follow the rules.. dun kayo mag exit.. lesson learned na yan.. next year wag na kayo pumunta sa MIAS para konti na lang ang tao na pupunta at ako naman ang makapunta... hehehe

I noticed this also as i found it quite a hassle more than anything else and it was also somewhat disturbing having to walk along the road coming from the neighboring building at night since it was not well lighted outside. Paano pa siguro yun mga may dalang DSLR.

understandable naman the organizer was protecting the interest of exhibitors

the organizer took exhibitors' money eh so they should guarantee the exhibitors visitors would see them (well, the organizer also took visitors' money hehe)

ang mali lang doon hindi maganda yung paraan

the organizer violated the right of visitors to leave the motor show after seeing only the main exhibit

next time gawin nila under one roof lahat lahat para fair to exhibitors and visitors

Meron din nagsalita dun na kasabay namin ng "paano kung ngkagulo dito, ibig ba sabihin dun pa sa malayo exit" :D
