- Cash, of course, so you can take advantage of special promos available only during such events.
- Your most comfortable footwear, since you'll be doing a lot of walking, standing and ogling.
- A portable chair (preferably one of those lightweight aluminim stools that looks like a cane when folded), so you can rest your bum when your feet finally give in.
- Pen and notebook, for taking note of the mods featured in the exhibit, if you plan on applying them on your own ride. Also good for obtaining info from the models (that is, if they're nice enough to oblige).
- I haven't been to a car show that gave out a functional loot bag, so better bring a big bag or backpack, to store all the promotional materials that the exhibitors wave in your face as you walk along.
- Pee bag, for car show venues that do not have restrooms inside; it's a big hassle if you have to leave the premises to do your thing, then come back only to shell out another entrance fee. Also bring a malong, so that no one will notice you actually using your pee bag.
