In my limited experience, it takes a while for the tyre pressure to decrease with these tyre sensors, compared to my regular aluminum valve caps.

Well you have a point sir.

Advantage and disadvantage between internal and external sensors? Sa accuracy?

Same lang bro.- pero, I like iyong internal (in my case- OEM) better...

Anyway, every 3 years siguro...

Iyong external,- as I said earlier,- takaw nakaw... magnanakaw, kolektor o iyong nawalan ng kapareho....

It'll pay for itself though we won't feel it because it's kinda preventive maintenance ang dating. 2011 I was suppose to buy a set na kaso it costs P6k. After I few months I ended up driving with a flat tire. The tire costs P5k so I'm effect, if I bought the TPMS prior to that incident, bawi na. Immediately after that incident bumili na ako. Onwards hindi na nangyari because you get to check the tire pressure everytime you drive.

here are the things i considered 2.5 years ago when deciding which sensor to buy.

    internal sensor advantages
    - di mananakaw unless nakawin buong tire
    - no need to remove the sensor during top up ng air

    internal sensor disadvantages
    - mahal, around 2k+ ang price difference nya for steelmate brand when i bought my tpms
    - disposable sensors since hermetically sealed sya it's not possible to replace the batt but batt life is 5 years.
    - DIY installation not possible
    - needs wheel balancing upon installation

    external sensor advantages
    - mas mura of course
    - easy DIY installation in 10 mins
    - replaceable battery and has 3 years batt life as per manual
    - no wheel balancing needed kasi magaan lang sya
    - easy replacement when sensor get defective

    external sensor advantage
    - posibleng manakaw. i don't consider it madaling manakaw kasi without the right tool masisira mo yong sensor bago matanggal

sa accuracy same lang sila +/- 1 psi. those are the things i considered kaya i ended up buying external sensors. i don't know kung true pa ba lahat yan, didn't do any research anymore after buying it. baka malaki na improvement ngayon ng internal sensor

Nope. Each sensor is marked FL, FR, RL, RR for specific tire locations.

^ so kapag external ang sensors, mas convenient sya kapag nag rotate ng gulong kasi mas madali sya i-set kumpara sa internal ones, that is if tire placement specific ang mga sensors nito

    That is correct bro...

In my case, for my internal sensors/transmitters,- I do not remove them anymore even if I rotate tyres...

I just take note where I moved them.

Because if one becomes underinflated,- it's my warning to fill them all up....

Ayos bro. Is that the solar powered one?

I bought another set of the same brand and model.... My recent experience in tpms, saving me a lot of time, effort and heartache made me more of a believer.... Another recent experience, it beeps of the battery voltage falls near 12v... This feature is not present with my regular voltmeter...

Also noticed that the tyre pressure is not reduced as much using the tpms sensor/transmitter vs the regular aluminium valve caps....

^ Yezzir. I bought the solar powered variety.

So far so good naman. It's doing what it's supposed to do.

and yes, i'll buy another set for my fd naman. I'll purchase the kind wherein the monitor is flushed right on the dashboard blind button. I'm just waiting for the price of it to go down...if it'll ever go down.
