I recently lost my car alarm remote. Alarm system is aftermarket that was installed in my 1997 corolla gli. Is it possible to just purchase another blank remote and have it copy the installed alarm system? How much would it cost?

what was the brand/model of your alarm system?
have you tried visiting/contacting alarm shops for reprogramming for your alarm system?

You need the original remote if you want it copied…

You are left with no other choice but to replace the whole set

    consider replacing the entire set.
it's not too expensive, if one gets the more basic models.
plus, you have a totally new set, and not a frankenstein of new and old.

    puedeng puede rin, sir.

    but from what i understand,
the shop that sells remotes may install the entire get-up into your car, for a minimal fee.
that way, sigurado kang bago lahat.
