Another thing transponder doesn't need power for it to work Diba? I can just removed it from the board and it will still work assuming I didn't damage it in the process.

i have an off-thread, non-automotive question.
i want to have my condo key duplicated. the condo administration charges a small arm and small leg for it.
my problem is, aside from the usual teeth, there is this metal outcropping at the side of the blade, which the usual key duplicating machine can not get at..
any ideas?

TS, better if you could attach some photo. Theres this key duplication at sta cruz selling almost all kinds of keyblanks.
