keyless entry and auto start

car now has power lock, sensors, and alarm.
but it doesn't have keyless entry, keyfob only has arm, and disarm.

can i buy just the "keyless entry" , or whole set of alarm na dapat?

next is,
the automatic start,
tell me if i got it right, so press the button, it will turn on the engine, ok lang nakabukas ang aircon?

so, you can drive the car w/o the key? or it won't work? still needs the key?

Mayroon akong dating ka opisina na mayroon remote start. If I remember correctly, kailangan na naka on ang aircon. Di ko lang maalala kung naka on din sa susian.

Nag reremote start siya pag pauwi na sa opis. Para pagsakay nya malamig na ang car nya. Maghapon kasing nakabilad. Isang down side ay naka unlock na rin ang mga doors. So sa parking sa opis lang nya ginagawa.

BTW, the car was a 2-door civic.

yikes. walang option na ON ang engine and doors are locked? panget naman ng ganon...

AFAIK, dapat yung whole system ang bibilin mo. ive never see na keyless lang ang benta sa banawe (or hindi lang ako naghahanap)

about sa keyless..... since may remote naman sya, pwede mong bilhan ng actuator. baka yun lang kulang or sira nyan.

sa auto start naman. dapat talaga naka on ang aircon. if you install an alarm na may auto-start feature (like cobra). after 30 secs pa saka lang magbubukas aircon. so may delay sya. pero sarado pa din doors mo.

then kung aalis ka na. i open mo yung door (by remote or susi). step on the breaks. then isaksak kaagad yung susi at ilagay sa on. kasi pag hindi mo ito ginawa mamamatay engine nung car. (anyway yung sakin kasi ganito sistema. i dont know sa ibang brand ng alarm)

ang auto-start maganda sa matic kasi lagi lang ito naka park or neutral. pag kasi manual tranny mo at naka primera ka yari. hehehe

tiboyx3m, dami na po auto start for diesel, meron na siya glow plug switch, which will wait until the heaters are done before mag autostart. with built in turbo timer pa. been using mine for 7 years now.

about sa autostart na may naguunlock, yun yung mga alarm na nilagayan lang ng relay para mag auto start. ginamit lang nila yung extra channels sa remote, pwede mo ma accidental pindot habang nakastart na, and it will grind the the starter. isa pang di maganda is you have to press the button while listening to your engine kung naka start na, similar sa pag start ng kotse using the key, may mga alarms with built in autostart, these alarms offer better protection sa engine. no over cranking and it wont trigger autostart kung nakastart na. hiwalay ang start button, and pwede mo start without unlocking the doors. sa aircon pwede auto on, kaso lang kailangan mo autoclimate control. may sarili siyang trigger, since yung akin dial type, di ko pwede lagyan, i also have to leave it on para gumana.

Sir tiboyx3m, I think available po ito locally. My strada, which is diesel-fed and with automatic tranny, is equipped with auto start as OEM. I'm not sure of the brand but it is marketed locally by Winterpine. You can inquire from their store if meron available for your car brand. I think their shop is along Araneta Ave, from E. Rodriguez going to SM Centerpoint.

You need to buy the whole alarm system para sa keyless entry plus actuators if your car is not yet equipped with power doors.

Auto start is an add-on gadget to the alarm, cost around 1700 pesos (forgot the name of the autopage alarm distributor in del monte but they have this). You will use the same remote with the alarm using an unassigned button or combination of buttons. I not very sure but I think the car will start remotely but the doors will not unlock and the car wont run unless you insert the key. If you try to shift to drive without inserting the key the car's engine will die.

About the aircon, I believe you must left if turned on.

ka office ko may auto start, yung kanya bundled yung alarm, keyless entry and auto start...cant remember the brand lang...yung pinaka box ng system may mga settings ng delay sa aircon and doorlocks so kung normal na alarm system yang sayo at ayaw gumana mga locks...most probably sira ang actuators or talagang wala...
