car alarm: anong maganda ngayon?

Was able to source a Beret car alarm that has retractable keyfobs with remotes integrated in it. Cost me 1.5k from a seller in another online classified site.

Keyfobs look like these below. The one I got was the switchblade type as it was the only one available for Nissan blank keys. Might get another for my brother's Altis as the second one looks like Toyota's OEM key (and it's for a Toyota).



Installed it DIY and the alarm module allowed me to wire it to activate the signal lights without the need of a diode or additional accessory.

Usually ganun. Twice na iilaw. Kapg nag-lock naman, once lang yung sa akin mag-flash.

Ano ba talaga dapat ang iilaw pag bukas mo ng pinto? Parklight or hazzard? Best practic. DAW is hazard para safe pag bukas ng pinto..

I always use autopage for aftermarket alarms once I want to change the stock security system. I currently have these installed in 3 vehicles and will most likely have a 4th one installed soon. The one installed in the sedan also has a function to open the trunk so I can open it remotely such as when I'm carrying grocery items. It also has a remote start that comes on a separate key fob. I rarely use it though since I usually forget that it's there.

Sirs, you can try this link for the Autopage car alarm autopage car alarm for sale Philippines - brand new and 2nd hand. I think Roadstar also has this in their stock asdie from Code Alarm which is also good. Had this installed in my 2013 Santa Fe.

Incidentally, any one here knows which shop specializes in installing a Viper Car Alarm? I have this Viper car alarm model 5904V which I bought from the US but am having a hard time trying to find a reliable installer. If you know one, please let me know, a contact number will also be of much help! TIA

Sir newbie po ako sa car alarm. Ask ko lang, kung dalwa line wire ng door ajar light ng car alarm at naka tap sa left and right signal lights. Paano po kung naka hazard ka at umilaw po un sa car alarm sa pag open ng doors, hindi po ba masira ang flasher relay or masunog ang signal light wires ng sasakyan?

Hi to all tsikot members. Patulong naman po. Ask ko lang kung pwede i-tap direkta sa turn/hazard light mula sa alarm? Dalawa po ang lights wire mula sa alarm. Hesistant lang ako ikabit sa turn/hazard light baka magkaroon problem sa turn/hazard light relay ng sasakyan. Viking car alarm ang gamit ko.

It's the C3-RS-665. The separate key fob is the C3-RS-665 2W. Installing it took a while though and because of the remote trunk opener, I can't lock my trunk anymore since if I do, the remote mechanism gets disaligned. So long as I don't lock it, it works flawlessly. The remote start works in the same way as those push start / stop buttons except it's outside the car. There's also a provision if you want to attach a remote window opener to roll down your front windows remotely but I never bothered with that.

remote stat will not work if not in neutral or park for A/T and parking brakes not engaged for MT (remote start not recommended for MT)

Thanks Stigg for the reply. Looks like it's not really recommended for MT. Because you can still crank the car even if in gear.

Viking Car Alarm. Maganda rin ang alarm na ito. Mag 1 year na sa april mula pa maikabit ko ito wala pa rin problema. I bought it from Mr. Roman Lao with central locks. And much more affordable for a basic car alarm from other brands. Lalo na if you are not a branded conscious person. Ok talaga.

Best thing to do is to return to the shop where you had it installed... Under warranty pa yan dapat

hi mga sirs. new car owner and I want to improve my car's security.


basic toyota alarm lang kasi, gusto ko yung may mga autolock and yung tumutunog bag nasagi. hindi ba mavo-void ang warranty ng car (like electricals and wiring) due to aftermarket car alarms mentioned in this thread?
