placed an order for G1W-C since may reliability problems ang gs8000L......gamitin ko na lang siguro as dash cam for the rear. ok lang dahil my sister decided to give it to me as a birthday gift. hindi na pinabayaran.

was torn between the yi and the g1wc.....opted for the capacitor considering yung init sa loob ng sasakyan ko kapag babad sa araw.

Another problem, bakit kaya hindi nagse-save yung video clips sa cp ko? Nakadefault naman sa folder ng "drivepro new".
I have the same unit. Perwisyo idownload yan.

Reduce the recording loop time to 3 minutes or lower para liliit un size ng video, thus shorter time to download.

Actually yun nga settings ko. Lowest setting is 720p front and 720p rear. And I used 3 min video intervals, masyado maiksi ang 1 minute intervals. Lumalabas is about 167mb file or so for 3 minutes. Ang download rate parang mga 500-800 kbps lang. I've read other people complaining the same thing. Mabagal talaga ang download rate ng Transcend 520.

So if you need to download more than two 3-minute clips, mas maganda pa take out mo yung MicroSD and saksak mo sa PC or use an OTG MicroSD reader to copy to the cellphone.

I attached my DP520 behind the rearview mirror of my car para di masyado distracting while driving. I just make sure na there is enough space for the rear camera to have an unobstructed view of the interior:

As you can see, I allowed a little slack on the wire para pwede pa i-adjust kung lilipat ko ng konti yung camera. I tucked the rest of the wire under the interior roof upholstery. I was able to tuck it to the side pillar on the passenger side, across the seam of the pillar, into the rubber seals of the car door. Di ko na pin-icture kasi wala makikita.

Then sa baba ng side, I taped it near the floor and up to the underside of the glove compartment:

I used electrical tape para di masyado obvious. You can use double-sided tape pero nakabit ko na ng electrical tape so di ko na binago.

Then, pag-gapang ng wire sa gitna sa may hand clutch area, inakyat ko and dinikit ko along sa contours. Dito gumamit na ako ng double sided tape:

Gapang siya all the way to the cigarette lighter socket, attached using double sided tape. Sa dulo nag-iwan ulit ako ng konting slack sa wire para kung huhugutin ko ang saksakan after driving. Yung FoFo ko kasi gumagana pa rin ang socket maski nakapatay makina. Baka madiskarga.

Subukan mo munang isiksik lang. May space yan between the plastic molding and the fabric.

    Hi guys,

We got a dp220, that's been in the box for some time now (bnew), and I am now planning on installing it on my car. Problem is, yung car charger is a bit too close sa gear shift, plus prone sa sabit when exiting the car (exit only to the passenger door coming from the driver's seat). I was thinking of replacing the cable to a usb type that would be powered by the same phone charger that's installed on the cig power supply.

I've scoured all the pc shops and cable monster, but to no avail. Do you have any lead/s to a reliable supplier? I'm primarily looking for a 3-5 meters long cable. Will it have any "loss" in transmitting anything from and to with that length?

    Thank you.

You just need a 2m cable to connect it from the dashcam to the 12V port, or better yet, directly to the car's ignition so you free up your 12V port.

    Thanks for the prompt response.

Tapping it to ignition is the best way imo, however, that car would be primarily used by my parents. My father specifically, doesn't want to touch anything on the electronics, thus using the cig port is the only way for me to install the dash cam.

Bought this one sa Lazada, nakakabit siya sa DP200 na nasa likuran, yes, may loss siya kasi may mga oras na nagr-restart yun DP200 although bihira lang naman in my experience.

Side-by-side night comparison Soocoo C30 Action camera vs Transcend DP200

Soocoo C30 ay nasa 2.5k sa lazada, while ang Transcend DP200 is nasa ~5k pataas.

IMO, mas may details sa shadow/black parts yun Transcend, saka hindi kagad nagb-blow out ang highlights (bright parts eh nagiging white) and it is a dedicated dash cam unlike yun Soocoo na hindi talaga intended primarily for dashcam. So mas madaling mag-save/protect ng videos sa DP200.

May FoV adjustment yun Soocoo na 170-degrees, 140-degrees, 110-degrees and 70-degrees. May 2160p resolution ang Soocoo kaya lang interpolated (2880*2160 24 fps) ito pero yun 2560x1440p 30 fps niya ay legit. Meron din itong 1080p 60 fps option.

Pros and cons, mas mura ang Soocoo at ok naman ang quality for me pero in terms of support at warranty eh panalo si Transcend at mas madaling hanapin/mabibili ang DP200.

Yo! Patulong naman bumili ako ng transcend hardwire kit, will pair it with Yi dash cam.

Where/how do I connect the ACC red wire? Do I need to strip and splice it?
