Does anyone know a good shop who can route my SJ400's charger cable through my headliner, and then through the A-pillar, and then to the 12V slot in the center console, or possibly even directly to another 12V connection directly to the battery.

Basically I want to hide the wires of my dash cam. Thanks!

    DIY!

I did it on my civic. The plastic moulding on the A-pillar has snap on connections and is easy to pry loose. Bitin lang yung wire ng car charger na kasama ng car mount kit. Had to install an extension cigarette lighter which i stuck at the foot well of the front passenger seat.

How long of a cable do you need to completely reach the center console?

About 3-4 meters. The included car adapter was only about 2 meters or so long.

Sj5000+ is great as an action cam. I cant believe i have never used this class of device before. Its wonderful especially with the kids. Battery life is so so (have to be conscious about it) but i bought two extra batteries and chargers so that helps. Wifi performance is okay but it cannot stream full bit rate to your phone or tablet. But its useful enough to review your videos and shots. This type of device really opens up my possibilities during memorable and precious moments. Gotta dust up my editing suite software.

Im using it in the beach and it has paid off dividends. Now i have to get more memory cards. 32gb runs out fast.

It can be used as a dashcam and it has a mode for that with loop recording and auto power on. But i have the transcend 200 and 220 for that duty.

All in all im very satisfied but it could be better if battery life was longer. Am using firmware 2.4.

Whats the battery life of a gopro with wifi?

May binebenta na na dashcam sa PCExpress. Yung ibang modelo meron nang built-in GPS na recorded na rin sa video yung location saka speed.

Yun bang suction cup and mount pang go-pro pwede sa sj4000? Also kapag dedicated dashcam ba si sj4000 di ba nakakasira na forever nakasaksak yung charger sa cigarette socket?

just got my 2nd g1w copy. the 1st one i have is now about 2 years old and is still doing fine so i decided to get another one. my only regeret is i got my 2nd unit after last month's accident

i thought hiding the wires in the monty would be a challlenge but it just took me about all of 10 minutes only. all i did was run the wire along the headliner's edge and then wedge it in the passenger door's weather strip.

btw, i bought a three socket adaptor from cd-r king and i hope it lasts. it's the only adaptor i saw w/o those nasty colored led mood lights - and it's cheap too

Problema ko din yang wire management na yan at use of socket adaptor.

Currently, i am using a 2-socket adaptor for my GPS and Dashcam. The GPS is positioned at the lower left most part of the windshield (using a suction cup) while the DashCam is on top of the headunit (using a platform/3M tape). Di ko tinago yung cords but I made sure na the shortest possible ang ginamit ko tsaka ko binalutan ng cord protector (dark gray).. gumamit din ako ng black clips to hold the cords.. Neat naman tingnan and I am satisfied.

Lately, I am considering to install my old Dashcam sa likod naman. My options: (1) to use a 3-socket adoptor and, this time, padaanin at itago kung san man pupwede ang mga cords; or, (2) leave it as is yung sa harap and gumamit na lang ng powerbank sa likod.

I am also thinking na maybe it would be best if I can have camera installed to my side mirrors. Parang mas okay yata na kumuha ng videos na capture ng side mirrors, instead of having one installed to capture the rear view.

The last time kasi that I used my spare dashcam, I have it positioned to capture the view covered by the right side mirror. That made me think na baka meron nga designed for that purpose, at pwede both sides.

    Meron nga kaya? Anyone?

I've found a new way to mount my dashcam:

    imageuploadedbytsikot-forums1433325192.329059.jpg

Using the supplied bike mount for the SJCAM, I attached it to the stalk of the rear-view mirror.

No more suction cups to the windshield = no damage to tint. [emoji108]

OLX bro. Around 4k for the wifi and 3k for the non-wifi version.

If you can afford the SJ5000+ at 7k though, it's a much better buy, especially if it'll double as your action cam.

im also planning to buy sjcam sj4000 for my dashcam. maganda naman reviews niya. question lang, kaya ba niya ma-withstand ung heat pag naka park sa init ng araw? yung parking ko kasi dito sa office walang bubong e so 8am-5pm siya nakabilad sa araw 5days a week.

and kamusta pala video niya sa gabi? specifically with medium black tint..
