Mga peeps,

I know dami ng thread about car alarms pero anong magandang gawin against car-jackers?

I was thinking meron bang switch na pag binigay mo yung auto mo hindi na makakalayo? Kasi yung immobilizer kapag kinuha yung auto ng wala ka sa loob eh paano kung tinutukan ka or something?

Dami na rin kasing incident na habang nag dadrive haharangin ka, syempre bigay mo auto pero baka meron pang-asar sa mga loko at iwan din eventually auto mo.

bullet proof glass? baka yung Ogara security meron sila yun pero ang alam ko yung bullet proof package nilka for a vehicle would also include the doors with the kevlar inserts eh.

One bullet proof window will be more expensive than a full featured alarm system with all the options :shock::lol:

You can have a "switch" installed where if you turn it off, the fuel pump will stop functioning after a few seconds (like 15 seconds or so) so they can't go far with your car. My previous car had such because there was a time of rampant car-jackings years ago. It also doubles as a good back-up for my car alarm/security too.

"meron ba kayang mabibiling bulletproof windshields sa market" - I have ridden into one of those cars (safari patrol) na binulet proof...it have an inner "capsule" so the windshield is actually dalawa - the orig windshield and inside is another layer of a thick (1" or 3/4") na plexiglass. Sabi nung driver, kahit point blank ng 45 di kaya magpenetrate ng bullet sa plexiglass layer.

Hindi na yata practical yun! unless kasing yaman ka nila

there's supposedly a tint that will make your windshield safer. the clear version makes it shatterproof, teh super dark one makes it bulletproof to a 9mm.

dont leave valuables inside your car
use "the club" or whathaveyou
have your VIN etched
know your local police number
dont leave your keys inside even for s split second

palagyan nyo ng main power "kill" switch parang sa mga race car tapos itago na kayo lang ang may alam kung saan pipindutin. drawback nga lang nito parating reset ang clock, radio etc nyo hehe
