Tanong lang...
Ano kaya nangyari sa alarm ko? I just conked out the other day. Di na sya nag eengage. Yung LED light parating nakabukas amd hindi na sya blinking and just turns off after i start the engine.
yung keyless naman, di naman affected.
could it be that the alarm is sira na?
thanks.

February 5th, 2009 09:07 PM #2Sir when you say "ayaw magengage" do you mean na wala yung beep na confirmation na naglock or nagunlock sya? Naglalock or nagaunlock pa rin ba kahit wala yung beep? Pag valet mode kasi always on lang yung LED and pag pinindot mo sa remote walang beep basta maglalock or unlock lang yung door.
Try mo ilagay sa acc/on yung susi then press yung button ng alarm (not the remote) mo for 3 seconds.

Check the alarm's manual. Baka naka valet mode. It's usually enabled/disabled using a hidden switch installed either under the dash or some other place the driver can reach.

February 10th, 2009 12:26 PM #6Hmmm... di kaya mahina na car battery? Kasi sa ken nilagay ko yung alarm sa valet mode pero since mahina battery ko nagenable uli yung alarm baka sa inyo is the other way around. hehehe....
or
di ba pwede maset sa valet mode ang alarm using remote (ipepress hold a button or something) baka naupuan or something yung remote?

ang pinakamalapit ng theory is naka on yung ignition switch ko (with engine off), tapos baka nasipa ko yung switch sa ilalim, tapos pinatay ko yung ignition switch. this reactivates the valet mode kasi eh.

August 11th, 2009 06:28 PM #8Hi Chief,
Just bought a car 1999 toyota corolla gli 2 weeks ago - the first owner informed me that the keyless entry is not working due to low-battery of the remote. However, upon checking with a keyless shop, sabi sa akin malakas pa yung battery. Checking the fuse box, he found a fuse not connected - so kinabit nya. He also checked the siren and saw that the socket was not connected too. After connecting, tumunog yung siren - kaso hindi sya humihinto kahit anong pindot namin sa remote - the good news is: the locking and unlocking of the doors works.
Sabi sa amin mukhang may problem na yung module ng alarm and advised us to check with the casa kasi orig from casa pa daw yung alarm unit. We settled to disconnect the siren's socket and maintain the fuse in place.
I have a feeling I have same experience as cited above kaso wala ako manual to experiment the unit. Plus, i am not sure kung yung red led light blinking when all doors are locked is normal.

1st problem: sobrang insensitive yung alarm ko to the point na yung pag binuggo ng fwet mo yung any part of the car, di pa din cya naga-alarm.
:beam:
