I like the former better, because I need the GPS to be in my peripheral vision. The latter is mounted into a cigarette lighter interface,- so, to get a visual,- you have to momentarily look down.../.

^^ true. Kase wala din ako pang gps. Lol kaya i need lang yung pang mount lang ng fone ko para di nakalampag. Haha!

anyone here tried using iOttie easy flex 3 or iOttie easy one touch 2 ?
baka ito na kasi ang gamitin ko sa monty namin since iyong mountek ko na gamit sa 1 naming sasakyan hindi pwepwede sa configuration ng dashboard niya

it comes with two magnets.... a larger one for tablets, which makes it having a bigger and stronger coverage. the smaller one is for mobile/smart phones.
there are two ways to mount the metal.... first is if you are using a very thin case, you can mount it between the phone and the case. if the case is thicker, then you may need to stick it outside of the case for a more firmer grip. however, panget tignan.
if you do not use a case, you can stick the metal inside of the phone, between the battery and the back cover.
planning to keep it for 15yrs just done 10,000 km already replaced the transfer case fluid w/...
