I think these are the brands carrying the name of CDR King. I am using Car navi and though it serves my purpose, sometimes it gave me directions that would require driving through narrow residential streets with lots of people occupying the middle road and one time to a dead end. At the cost of Php9k i cannot complain. Touch screen is a pain too but once you are used to it you can live with it.

Entry-level Garmins are already in the sub-5k price range. Especially since the most complete and comprehensive Philippine map provided by Roadguide.ph is written for Garmin devices, I suggest you get this instead of generic nav units.

I bought one from sulit seller based in las pinas who sold for 4500. Been using it for over A year. Dropped it several times, updated the map, even changed voice. It runs on garmin mobile xt. Ok naman. Does the job.

been using a china gps for over 1-1/2 years na, cost 4k. has 2 programs, garmin and another i have used only once so forgot the name. ok naman siya, di naman ako naliligaw. well, once lang when coming from marcos highway to naguilian road sa baguio dinaan nya ako sa mga iskinita na matatarik sa baguio hehehe, shortest route kasi and setting. but when i changed the setting to major roads ok na, pointed to the nearest major road that connected me to naguilian. in manila and surrounding area (bulacan, laguna, tagaytay), accurate naman. fast satellite lock din, never more than 1 minute cold start up.

the only problem i have with it now is the battery needs replacing so i have to keep itplugged in all the time.

Been using a Garmin Nuvi with maps from Roadguide.ph. Maps are updated regularly, almost once every 2 months. To get the latest updates, kailngan mong mag member sa Roadguide, contribute waypoints and other POIs, tapos elligible ka na for free updates.
