If you guys want a reliable rear backing sensor. Try Audiovox. Nasa Shangrila mall pa ba sila?

Yun nga lang mas mahal and not so much fancy features. But very reliable.

ako i use one of those plastic mirror-thingies that you stick on your rear windshield. bought it sa concorde for less than P200. when you look at your rearview mirror, you can see that mirror reflecting a wide angle view of the entire back of the car (i use it on my civic). very helpful sa pagpapark ng patalikod.

    Thread revived.

Just keep the sensors clean and do not wipe them indiscriminately, as you may scratch them, giving you a false 'readout'. Also, it helps to test them at your controlled environment regularly.

Bottomline, kailangan pa rin ng visual just to be sure.

Thanks.

ok kaya to for a van? I'm choosing between this and a mirror.

I use both the wide-angle stick on and a mirror. It helps, but it's a pain to get out and re-adjust the mirror if you're swapping between drivers.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

tamang-tama tong thread na to... balak ko din kasi magpakabit ng sensors. dyan na lang ako sa pinas bibili ng sensors kasi may kamahalan dito sa mid east. makakatulong pa ako sa ekonomiya ng bansa. so to sum it all... ang da best na bilhin ko is yung audio, visual w/ 4 sensors. punta na lang ako ng banawe at araneta. salamat mga dre for the tip.

Audiovox still gets my vote but the sensors are a bit bulky.

But I don't want to rely on them so much. I still prefer to see what I'm doing with an underview mirror.
