Does it?
I've been seeing a few (I think) cars equipped with those... subjectively, their brightness is between the low & high beam of regular vehicles.

when i used higher wattage bulbs and had fatter wires and relays installed, yes parang nasisilawan mga incoming drivers. lagi nila ako finaflash dahil akala nila naka high beam ako![]()

You could use higher wattage (candle power) light, but you have to aim it properly. I use them on all my vehicle including my son's car and so far its been good, nobody flash me yet at ang liwanag ng kalye kapag gabi.Originally Posted by ssaloon
my super whites sometimes dies on my altis lows. i think i need relays. can anyone explain to me what relays are for ?
around how much would those cost?
where could i buy them?
thanks.
it dies then switches back on when you flick the switch or patay lang talaga at kelangan na palitan?
they go back when you flick the wires behind the bulb.
anyway, had them changed this morning, but, now patay naman ung park light on that same side.
higher wattage bulbs could burn your socket pala, nakita ko na natunaw na ung socket, sabi nga ng cousin ko kanina "buti nalang hindi pa natuluyan". so he changed them to a lower wattage whiteys.
my only problem now is the parklight.
Higher wattage, or HID? I'm not sure of the line between them.
But I've noticed that in some cars I've ridden with exceptionally clear low beams, people seem to flash you more. Probably not blinding, but it's definitely irritating to oncoming motorists... which is why I usually only use my foglights in traffic.![]()
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

yep, probably the aim is off a bit... changed mine to HIDs. got a lot of flashes from other drivers before i had them aimed.![]()
i think sa aiming din yan. HID has lower wattage pero mas brighter sya compare sa ordinary bulb with higher wattage.
masmalayo at masmalaki kasi ung bato ng ilaw ng mga higher wattage bulbs..
kaya masmadaling masilaw ung nasa kasalubong mo.

For cars with plastic lenses, don't forget to consider the additional heat that will be generated by uprated bulbs.
this is true. napansi ko nga nasira yung sa may lens ng civic namin. may parang sunog na part dun sa likod nang bulb.Originally Posted by StraightSix
