where to have double contact

double contact yung cheek lights and corner lights. this means when i turn on my park lights, my cheek lights and corner lights also turn on. pero siempre when turning or naka-hazzard, they would still blink.

aside from aesthetics (i find it appealing) it also serves the purpose of being better seen at night - especially when crossing sa mga dark intersections.

a yun ba! sa maxima di pwede ko gawin yan, peanut bulb ng cheek lights kay LED nalang para di umilaw pag di nag on ng park light.. tapos pag gabi alternate flashing, lalo na pag hazzard..

liteace ko has a corner lamp--double contact yung bulb--pero kainis na light sensor na yan, ayaw umilaw yung corner lamp kung yung taiwan bulbs!pag signal to the left/right, iilaw ung bulb, pero not blinking...best if gagamitan mo nung polarg na 32w/7w whites (P300+/bulb)

daling DIY yan-- bili ka ng lagayan ng bulb na double contact--alisin mo yung sayo-palitan mong binili mong contact, rewire.

tapos kung makakakuha ng small switch--i-plastric tie mo sa light wand mo, at i-tap mo yung positive sa on either ng fog/headlight tapos yung switch para kung saan side iilaw, ok na yun!

mine done last saturday (double contacts, cheek and corner lights on kasabay ng parklights)
P500 all in na. double contact sockets w/ wires (3 wires, hi+lo+gnd), pair of doucle
contact bulbs, and labor.
siyempre usi ako nung ginagawa para matuto. ngayon alam ko na. hehehe...

yep ganun nga. sabi ng iba ricey, pero sa akin may purpose kasi ako hehe. hirap pag madidilim na lugar lagi mong dinadaanan. wala akong problem na hindi ko sila makita because i have good headlights. ang problem ko lang ay kung makikita nila ako, lalo na from the sides. dami kasi jeep na di nagheheadlights. nakakatakot when crossing intersections.

DIY ba? Bili ka double contact sockets and bulbs (2 positive nun – high and low) re-wire / tapping okay na rin kasi nga double contact siya… kung pagagawa mo sa accessories shop… plus labor lang din though syempre mas mataas sa kanila ang materiales compared sa suking auto suppy.

The front will have a different sort of wiring from the rear because the fronts will use the park/headlamp + turn signal wiring while the rear will need the park/headlamp + brake wiring. Tap into each one from each end. I believe www.danielsternlighting.com has a link for the fronts, but not the rear. It's a popular thing to do for those whose turn signals are not easily seen when flanking the car.

pero kung corner lamp i suggest LED whites na hiwalay sa cheek light mo.. havent tried pa sa maxima ko, pero minsan gagawin ko...

kahit saang auto electrical alam nila yan, ang alam ko ikaw ang bibili ng materials tulad ng double contact sockets, ingat lang at wag kang bumili nung double contact na ordinary hanap ka sa surplus ng kaparehas sa socket mo, dahil laging nakabukas ang ilaw baka tunawin lang ang ordinary double contacts mo, maganda yung surplus na talaga na DC

2. alternate yung fender/cheek lights sa pagblink dun sa front and back lights.

are these normal or may mali? para maibalik ko pa agad

Sa Team Car, Banawe. Pinakamaganda pa rin bumili ng sockets sa casa. You can avail the bulbs at around 50-80 bucks. Pero I opted for the better ones priced at 300 bucks. All in all sa akin around 800 plus nagastos. 4-5 months na and it's still ok

Was it properly grounded? Pag bumilis yung blink ng lights it means that side "senses" a bad bulb.

Yup, normal interval lang dapat iyung pag blink. And yes, alternate talaga ang pag blink ng cheek and signals pag naka DC

ayaw tumunog eh. buti na lang fuse lang. kala ko yung amp na mismo eh.

well i just replaced the bulbs, tapos ganun nga. normal muna tapos biglang bibilis. tapos di na bumalik sa normal na speed. i tried replacing the bulbs, ganun ulit. ayusin ko yung grounding. ako na lang siguro gagawa. i guess the "fast" bulbs are already trash... haay buti na lang mumurahing bulbs lang yun.
