September 15th, 2005 01:27 PM #1does anybody know how to reset the t-belt warning light? this warning light came on when the odometer in my toyota hi ace '90 japan model with 2lt engine hit 100t kms. i changed the timimg belt but the warning light is still on. how can i reset this. thanks in advance

I hope this helps. On Mitsubishis, there is a teeny tiny slide switch at the back of the instrument cluster. It's so tiny that you have to use a screwdriver to push it.
And you have to remove the instrument cluster to do so.

September 19th, 2005 10:19 AM #4I know that on old toyota hilixes with the 2L engine you get a small key when you buy original timing belts. You use the key to turn off the T-belt warning light.
Blue-labeled Motolite Gold are factory-supplied OEM batteries with only 1 year warranty.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
