Signal Light Blinks Twice as Fast

You guys were right. It was a matter of changing the bulbs. At work this afternoon, I went down to the parking lot and removed the bulb. Namumuti na siya. I also removed the backing-up light on the left, as it was also pundido. On the way home, I passed by El Dorado and bought replacement bulbs. Right then and there, I installed them. And lo and behold! My signal light is blinking happily at the usual rate again! Thanks, guys.

However, there appeared another problem. While I was at El Dorado, I decided to check the other bulbs in the rear (might as well, since I could buy whatever replacement bulbs were still needed). No other bulbs were pundido. On the other hand, I switched on my headlights. The two rear red lights lit up. However, when I stepped on the brakes, the right rear light would intensify, but the left rear light would disappear. The left rear light would reappear when I stopped stepping on the brakes.

What gives? Is there any way I could DIY this thing? Looks like you end up with another problem when you fix the first one.

Whatever the case may be, thanks for the tips for my first problem. I hope that somebody can help me with my second problem.

so far i only know of 1 brand for LED bulbs, Redline. Comes in white, blue, red n green colors. the white is slightly more expensive. costs approx. 300-400+ per bulb.

every time you press or release on your brake pedals

nga pala, binabawi ko na ung LED ok for signal....di pala..tried it out, bumilis lang ung flash(as if shorted)

LED are good only for park and side markers, i bet mahirap maghanap ng double-contact na LED..i know, kasi i'm finding one.

ung LED ko white, nabili ko sa handyman*almost 300 pesos a pair, taiwan made lang, ung BI/ipfs/raybrigs na nasa concord are unimaginable of almost 600 a pair(or per piece).common ay blue, red, green..may white, yellow/orange, pero rare.

If sira ang bulb, bili ka na lang sa tabi-tabi. Php 20.00 ata ang bili ko dati. Brandless lang pero gumagana pa din naman.

sir Otep...double contact po sia di ba ..at separate ang line or contact niya kaya dapat kahit busted ang isa ay hindi dapat maapektuhan ang isang contact nito.

tama try mo pag palitin muna doon sa isa taillamp mo na buo ang mga contact
if ever you encounter the same problem
double tsek mo iyon fiber (kulay RED or black minsan) sa loob ng socket mo kung deformed na malamang nagdidikit na sa isat isa ang mga contact everytime na ilagagay mo ang lamp...IMHO

yun sa akin when i plug my cp charger sa cig/lighter socket bumibilis ang signal lights ko bakit ganun? Pero pag wala normal lang
