Reverse / Backup light not functioning!

bulbs are working... how can i test kung sira na yung sensor niya sa transmission??? ;)

Are both bulbs not working? Either sockets have corroded or a loose wire somewhere. Try to tap an extra socket for the bulbs along its line and check if it lits up.

bulbs are working... but no power coming from the socket!

Then check the lines, what I meant was, does both left and right socket have no power?

Malamang po may dugtong sa wirings nyan na may loose contact.

check din po ninyo yung fuse ... or silip po kayo sa ilalim ng car at baka na-disconnect lang yung wire going to the transmission case..

Check mo muna kung nakasaksak nga talaga yung switch sa transmission. Yung sa amin dati, natanggal talaga kaya pala walang reverse lamps.

Check if the bulbs are functioning, isaksak mo sa ibang socket (e.g. taillamp socket) and magtry ka ng ibang bulbs sa reverse lamp socket.

parehong hindi umaandar... pareho ding alang pumapasok na kuryente sa sockets... trace ko tomorrow yung line going sa transmission!

just as some others have said, check your fusebox. yung amin dati ganon. pati sa foglamps. fuse lang pala lahat. whats your car ba? we used to have 99galant, 96GLXi 97GSR. hehe baka maalala ko pa. in the first place naman ksi mitsubishi is one of the best sa electric wiring when it comes to cars . i think they even have their own electric company.
