One week sir after proper installation and not touching the bulb. So far, no one from my buyers had a problem with
Osram Night Breaker Plus after they install it in their cars. And based on my friends experience, yung Osram NBP H4 nya lasted for 2 years.

Regarding the one who installed Osram NBP and said:
"bakit ganon, sinubukan ko high ng NB+ h4, ang pusyaw ng buga..... malabo kumpara sa dating gamit ko na osram all weather.
pag dark ang color ng kalsada, akala ko pundido na agad mga bumbilya ko. nawawala."

Sir, try to re-align or focus again your headlight. Everytime we change the bulb, we also need to align/focus the headlight. Baka kasi sobrang taas or sobrang baba ng ilaw kaya malabo. And NEVER touch the bulb/glass coz it will decrease the light output.

The reason why Osram NBP has a yellowish color and 10% whiter than stock bulbs is for the driver to see the road even if it is raining. Kasi if white sya e magbo-bounce or magre-reflect lang ang ilaw sa wet roads.

Regarding Extreme Vision, maganda and malakas din sya. Pero malaki ata difference sa price compare sa Osram NBP. Do you have an idea how much Extreme Vision is?

The satisfaction on which bulb to use depends on the end user. Some are satisfied with Osram NBP and some are not.
You can use any brand of halogen bulb but just be sure that it is worth the price and always think of your safety.

Mas maputi than stock and Philips XV. Yun Philips XV close to stock halogen ang color but definitely mas malakas.

    Sir ,

You can try using Latex gloves , yung ginagamit sa clinics or hospitals hehehe parang me ooperahan ka nun

Our hands have oil( natural) that may cling to the bulb and causes it to be burnt during lamp operation thus shortening the life of our bulbs.Minsan kasi di natin pansin masyado kasi malinis yung hands natin pero trust me the oil is there.

Just my two cents sir , hope this helps.

    +1

Or if you don't have Latex gloves, you can put baby powder on your hands to absorb the oil.

    hi guys,

my company assigned me a 2008 altis 1.8 v and upon researching stock headlamps is HID (with manual levelling) - though I'm still not sure if the stock HID is still the one installed on the car The thing is, I just came from North Luzon, and upon traveling at night at SCTEX, I had a hard time seeing the road especially the parts with no lighting at all.

In your opinion, which should I go for?Philips Extreme or Osram Night Breakers Plus? or HID (which brand?)? I'll be travelling outside metro manila more often than not, and I heard you'll have a hard time seeing the road when using HID during heavy rain fall.

    tia!

Based on my experience with 6000k HIDs, i have better vision during rainy days with it than stock halogens. Upgrading to NB+ or XV will surely improve your lighting if you're currently using halogens in your car.

The thing is with HIDs is that, you need to be a responsible user. Some reflector headlights can handle them, some cannot. If you stand in front of your car and get a face full of glare from your headlights, it is better to stick with halogens. Not everyone can afford a retrofit, so if you are planning to get HIDs, make sure you don't cause too much glare to other motorists.

If your car uses H4 bulbs, it is almost certain that when you switch to HIDs, it will have terrible cutoff. 9006 bulbs on the other hand, has a nice cutoff even with plug and play HIDs.

sir, i would suggest you get a retorfit from GaryQ for your low beams. pricey but well worth it if you can afford it. i dont think bolt on projectors will fit in the low beams of the altis. so the only other option for you is to replace the oem halogens with Phillips XV or Osram NB+, sigurado meron improvement ng 35% (as they claim). also, you can replace your hi beams with these bulbs. ganyan din yung xtrail ko with oem halogens, it was inadequate when i traverse the sctex at night. at first, i replaced it with high wattage high priced IPF halogens and replaced the sockets with ceramics. kaya lang ang bilis mapundi. halos 1 year lang. then i replaced it with HID bulbs, malakas tignan pero sabog ang nakaka silaw. so i replaced it with G3 bi-xenon projectors kasi cant afford retrofits. ayun, happy na ako sa buga ng ilaw at sa cut-off. di na nakaka silaw.

yung accord namion, di rin pwede bi-xenon projectors kaya replaced both lo and high beams with philips XV, better than the oem halogens.

chineck ko yung NB+ ko kanina. closely inspected them, so far no oils, finger prints or anything that make my hands the culprit ng panlalabo. napa-ingat ata ako sa pagkabit.
compared to my other bulbs na osram all weather na madami talagang fingerprints.

Saan mo nabili sir yung Osram NBP? Yes, may mga fake na Osram and you can see the difference sa packaging pa lang.
Have you checked yung takbo ng electricity ng oto mo sir? Or baka maluwag yung pagkaka-lagay ng socket sa bulb?
Or try to align your HL.

Pale yung color sir and yung hologram na sticker sa ibabaw ng box is hindi clean and yung silver sa front printing is hindi kumikintab pag natatamaan ng ilaw.
