Thanks. Will consider this pag napundi na si Osram. Did you replace it yourself?

Me too! Was going to do HID retrofit summer last year but that got very delayed because of the pandemic.

Instead I scored Ultinon Essentials cheap from a friend who accidentally got the wrong bulb type.
I really like that it's completely fanless and instead uses some sort of wick as a heatsink.
Cutoff is nice and clean despite using a reflector housing.

I've been using it since Sept yata last year but not once na may nag flash sa akin na nasilaw sila even on a not-so-well lighted street. everyday I go out at around 5:30AM kaya palagi ako naka headlight. naka regular reflector lang ako.

the reason why I chose this because of the fanless design. galing ng design ng heatsink hehe.

yan nilagay ko sa kia picanto at mitsubishi adventure.. both using H4 sockets.

Thank you. Been hearing about this that's why I asked. Curious kasi. Looks like I'll give it a try.

Philips Ultinon vs Halogen H4 (taken from Honda Fit Forums). Notice how the placement of the LED element and low beam shield is bang-on compared to the standard halogens. The LED strip is also very thin just like a halogen filament.
This is what gives it good focus and beam pattern even when used in standard reflector housings:

Can't find good videos of Ultinon Essential in H4 online.

    These are for H7:

I'll try and take pics of the beam pattern from my H4s next time I'm outside at night.

My pic, Philips Ultinon Essential H4 looking through 3M CS35. Apologies couldn't find a dark enough place that was also facing a wall.
You can see the cutoff is clean, and there's a nice hotspot just like halogen.
Been using these for 9 months now and never been flashed by oncoming traffic.

Just got philips xtreme vision pro150 for my fortuner 2025 high beams. We tested it alongside my friends 2011 fortuner with osram nightbreaker unlimited (the latest one) high beams and the philips was the clear winner in distance, brightness and intensity

Question lang about latest osram night breaker laser next gen. We used it once and it only lasted few months hindi tumagal ng 1 year. Is it advisable to buy the osram night breaker unlimited instead for h4?

Or mas matagal or maliwanag xtreme vision?

This is for halogen reflective lens.

Actually I'm not sure kung one time off lang yun
It was an night breaker laser next gen h11 bulb used daily, nauna yung isang side napundi, pinalitan yung napundi ng stock at iniwan yung ok pa. After few weeks or days sumunod na yung isang side.

May fake ba nito?

In my experience parehas lang life ng Osram at Philips Xtreme Vision, hindi aabot ng 1 year. 6 months the most depende sa working hours, which nakasulat naman sa box nila. May dala akong reserba just in case mapundi na nasa long drive ako. Daming fake na Phillips. In the end nag convert ako sa hid.

Ngayon night and day ang difference.
