January 23rd, 2013 12:34 PM #3Mga 95% sure ako fake yung bulb na nakuha nya. That happens when the filament are not optically centered.
Here is a comparo I did on the XV and NB+:
Got to finally do this as I started to import directly Osram NB's and Philips XV and I am starting to offer a unique plug and play HID bulb only for H4 headlights.
Comparing the outputs:
headlights are Jazz GD, 1st Gen
same CAM settings on all
Stock Osram bulbs (from casa) vs. Osram Night Breaker Plus
stock vs. Philips Xtreme Vision (XV)
I measured light output in LUX with a light meter:
stock halogen bulb = 80-100 lux
Osram NB = 150-170 lux
Philips XV = 150-170 lux
There is a considerable difference between the stock halogen bulb and the NB or XV.
Between NB and XV
In actual and same with the pic, it is very hard to see the difference.
I lowered the headlights to see the actual width of the bulb output. This is showing one headlight:
Even here, it is very hard to see a width difference although I can see a slight advantage of the XV. I work with headlight output everyday so I can see some small differences but for an everyday, normal driver, this will be very hard to see.
These are all ORIGINAL AND GENUINE Osram NightBreaker Plus and Philips XV H4's from Germany. Some people say mas matibay yung Philips XV but we need see this first sa long term use. I will also try to do some testings sa H7 or H11 bulbs. All bulbs are now available. Sobrang daming fake na ganito, I went around to check. I am offering the bulbs with FREE installation and alignment of headlights.
I cannot point enough na ang daming FAKE na Osram NB+ and Philips XV so ingat sa pagbili.

I thought you were already inclined on getting the PXV or ONB+ after you created your own thread (http://tsikot.com/forums/car-lights-...zda-2-a-91782/) regarding your plan to upgrade your lighting. Honestly, don't go for plug and play HID. If you want to do it the right way, get your headlights and foglights retrofitted to a projector type.
We pretty much summarized (on your thread and this thread "http://tsikot.com/forums/car-lights-...-newbie-88128/") every disadvantage of Plug-and-Play (PnP) HIDs on your STOCK and NON-MODIFIED reflector headlamps and you very well know that slapping on PnP HIDs causes glare to motorists in front of you. That's a safety issue and that's exactly the reason why most forumers here are against it. Kapag nabulag ang kasalubong mo maaaring maaksidente yan, or maka-aksidente ng iba like mga pedestrians na tumatawid na hindi nya nakita dahil bulag sya sa ilaw mo.
So my advice, again, just use the PXV or ONB+, sir garyq already posted the output and trust me, they're much better in person. I drove my friend's Pajero FM when he upgraded from stock halogens to PXV, very nice output. Approximately 80% improvement in overall lighting (width, intensity of light). At magkano lang yan compared to those HID kits, malamang 2 pairs pa nga ng PXV/ONB+ ang mabili mo for the price of one pair of HID kit. And by the way I'm no expert on lighting, one does not need to be an expert in lighting to realize the consequences of using PnP HIDs on non modified reflector HLs, just use common sense.
Very informative discussion guys. Thanks a lot!
