    Worth it po kung makakakuha kayo ng P1,500 or less. Kung me extra money at tamad maghanap, pwede na rin sa *P1,800. P2k up, medyo not worth na yata sa mga kapos sa budget.

    re-posting these pictures for those who want to upgrade to a different halogen bulb. same cam setting for all shots

    The stock halogen is 1 year old, Osram and ordinary, OEM H4 bulb
    The Philips XV and Osram Nightbreaker+ are NEW and original/genuine

    XV vs. NB

    My opinion and suggestions:

    a. Is there an improvement over the stock bulb? Yes, at best around 15-20%, NOT 100% as claimed by the manufacturer.
    b. If you have a new car I really dont suggest changing coz the improvement is very minimal but if it's ok with you to shell a few thousand pesos for the 15% imrovement, then go for it.
    c. XV or Osram NB: purely on output, not much difference. Sa tibay, I am not sure coz hindi ko pa nagamit ng matagal both.
    d. If you have an old car and you are planning to change bulbs, then get either coz the older the bulbs, the lesser the output na so mas considerable yung difference.
    e. Check alignment after changing bulbs especially if its an old car. Kung bago pa then most probably ok alignment nyan.

    When you ask users, you are given subjective opinions. Look at the pictures and decide for yourself para you can make an objective decision on your quest for better lighting.

    pwede rin siguro magpalit agad to XV or Osram NB to get that extra 15% improvement, then make the stock bulbs spares for emergency? atleast in case of busted bulb during long trips, may readily available spare...

    I had watched motoring today or drive it by DW-TV several years ago;

    they concluded that its not the brand that makes the best output but even the cheapest china made halogen make the improvement better over stock/branded lamp;

    the focusing of light that matters. I will post the video if I can dig it.

    I'd be careful about making this conclusion.

    Osram and Philips make OEM halogen bulbs and one reason why they are oem eqpt is because of the quality they produce and the reproducibility of this quality, i.e there is a standard level of quality for the parts they make.

    For sure some China made halogen bulbs can make acceptable quality bulbs for the price. But imo, right now, they dont have the same level of quality as OEM bulbs. Also make sure to compare apple to apple of course. Also output is one story, service lifetime is another. No use to have a bulb with good output and you can only use it for 6 months.
