    Question lang.

Will replacing the stock wiring + relay increase the light output of the HL?

May tulong konti. Especially if it's an older car.

If budget is not an issue, go for complete retrofit. Quad projectors set up ka na. Parang tanghali na siguro niyan kahit gabi.

If you choose number 2 hindi rin gaano kalaki ang brightness na maidadagdag kasi your projector is designed for halogens. Yes walang glare pero ang projector na made for HID ay may wider and maybe more intense output. If budget permits go for a projector retrofit. Quad setup kung galit ka sa gabi hehe pero no need for quad dahil yung normal retrofit lang will suffice.

My friend has a Philips XV installed on his Pajero FM and estimated 80% output in terms of light intensity ang nadagdag nung XV, output also became a little wider.

Dun ako sa option 3 if you really have money to burn. Pero kahit di na quad set up. I still prefer yun may halogen high beam parin, parang spot light kasi yun tsaka mas effective ipang flash sa mga pasaway

Budget might be an issue for #3.

What do you think of Option #1?

Then I'd go for option 2 sir. 3,500 lang naman ang plug and play HID sa Maspro Banawe

    Thanks for the suggestion.

No sir stock HLs lang. I just thought I'd give you an idea of the output of Philips XV on stock lighting hehe.

If you decide to go for retrofit, better to keep your HI beam stock para may pang flash ka as HIDs are not meant to be used as flashers (on and off), they will shorten the bulb's lifespan.

H11: Morimoto Elite HID System - HID Systems from The Retrofit Source Inc

then replace the halogens of your hi beam to philips XV or ONB+. sa set up na yan, i'm sure you'll be satisfied na with the output.
Mainit masyado yung 55w. Had it before in my diy retrofit. After few months, naghaze na yung headlight ko

Thanks for the inputs guys. Since car is new, I'm leaning towards changing to HID plug-n-play. After 3 years na yung retrofit.

Any recommended shop that you have tried with good results? Can see a lot offering in s u l i t but want to get recommended shops.

    Thanks again.

Just in case you go for Philips, ingat lang sa fake Philips HID nagkalat daw talaga. Not sure regarding the quality of most HID kits sold locally.

Yup hehe I drive his FM a lot for me to notice the difference from his stock halogen. Medyo nasisilaw lang ako ng konti nung cutoff nung left HL nya ewan ko kung mataas ng onti ang tutok or what. Pero yung color, slightly whitish than stock pero mas intense.

Try Maspro in Banawe or Pao in sulit (pdm88). He does home service.
