Palinis ng Head Light

can anyone please tell me, kung may alam kayo kung saan nag papalinis ng head light? (madumi na kasi loob niya eh) and also change yung bulb niya sa loob from yellow to white?

You can bring your headlights assembly to Big Berts. naglilinis din sila nun.

Sa Banaue, nakalimutan ko lang yung name nung mama pero magaling maglinis. Basta't kalbo yun, medyo matanda na, naka-motor at may assistant lagi. P1300-P1500 ang singil niya. Inooven yata niya para mabaklas yung buong headlight assembly. Nilalagyan daw niya ng wax or something yung chrome parts para malinis.

Hmm... saken dito sa Evangelista pinalinis eh... 500 isa. Napamahal pero as long as satisfied sa results oks na rin. Layo kasi nila big berts eh.

Btw, ung bulb to white pwede DIY. Check my sig. Hehe.. 300 per pair lang sa Evangelista din. Basta wag mo lang gamitin 'to mag malakas buhos ng ulan. Although may silbi pa siya, hindi nga lang siya kasing effective ng all-weather bulbs pag ulanan season. Just my .02.

bigberts, pero kailangan yata kalas na. celica motors, near bigberts sta. mesa, pwede magpakalas.

gawin mo na lang ng sarili mo tol kung gusto mong makatipid... Madali lang basta hwag ka magmamadali...

-take off the headlight assembly
-take off all clips and rubbers
-set the oven to 250 - 300 °F
-wrap the headlight assembly with aluminum foil, with the seam only exposed
-put the headlight assembly in the middle of the oven away from the bottom and from the top where the heating rods are
-bake for 5-10 minutes (may take longer given that not all ovens behave the same)
-keep on checking back until the adhessive sealant that attaches the cover to the housing becomes soft enough
-pry the cover from the housing using a flat-head screw driver
-clean the housing and the cover
-re-heat the oven to the same temp
-put the housing and the clear cover back in the oven
-wait until the seam softens
-re-attach them back together
-let cool down for a few minutes before re-installing the clips and rubbers
-re-install the headlight assembly

Do one headlight at a time...

Pero yan eh kung may tiyaga ka, madali lang, plus you'll save the money for something else... instead na bayaran mo ng mahigit isang libo yung ibang tao sayo na lang... sarap pa ng pakiramdam kapag ikaw gumawa... :D just my .02 kaya yan, basta may time...

Sa Evangelista din ako nagpalinis P900 pareho na. Kung marunong ka nga mukang kaya naman DIY. Binabad lang nila sa balde na may sabon para linisin.

Yung white light naman sa summer mo na install wag ngayong tag-ulan magsisisi ka lang hehe.

si FELIX yung tinutukoy ni FD na kalbo. makikita sya sa banawe, syltech yung name nung shop kung san nya ginagawa yung service nya. he uses mother's plastic cleaner and he usually charge 1,500 for a pair.

kung sakaling nagka moist sa loob, balik lang sa kanya then aayusin nya ulit FREE of charge na. highly recommended na po itong taong to. :chopper:

Actually hindi sya shop. Tao lang. May shop ako na lagi pinupuntahan dun. If you're from Edsa, may isang short bridge ka na madadaanan along Evangelista and the shop is on the left immediately after the bridge. Tapat sya ng Masterwheels na shop. May talyer sila sa kabilang street. Nung may pinapakabit ako sa kanila before natanong ko kung marunong sila maglinis ng headlight. Tinuro nila yung 2 mama dun sa tapat nila. So sa kanila ako nagpalinis.

Siguro if you reach the shop I'm referring to, hanapin mo si Tom. Kilala nya yung mga yun.

Sarado na MasterWheels chief... accdg. to Abay na katabi niya dun nalugi daw. Si Abay naman pinagpalinisan ko ng headlight. Di ako makaling sa tawaran pero tingin ko makukuha rin at 900 ung price sa kanya. Abay din pangalan ng shop katabi lang talaga ng Masterwheels. =)

Si Felix kalbo matagal na niya kaming client. Inayos din niya license plate ko (the former owner messed it up). Since mainit ang mga pulis sa kanya about license plate services, mas focus na ata siya sa pagtinda ng lamps and paglilinis.
