Paltik,
Compared to ordinary Halogens these perform better because of the farther light throw. You'll be disapointed if you're looking for "whiter" light color output. Actually whiter doesnt necesarilly mean it's brighter or you can see better. Check out the articles in this link by Daniel Stern the bulb guru:
http://www.danielsternlighting.com/t...lbs/bulbs.html
You can even email him regarding these type of bulbs with 50% more light throw. There are two kinds so far in the market which are Osram Silverstar and Philips Vision Plus. These aren't hped up bulbs .. Yung hype talaga yung mga nabibili na superwhite with outrageously claimed higher wattage kuno pero in reality 60/55 pa rin.
I have noticed the difference between the silverstars and my stock halogen bulbs before pag byahe ko sa pauwi probinsya. Usually sa gabi may mga daan na wala man lang mga lamp post. The silverstars do their job nicely. Pag agulan din these bulbs are way better than superwhite bulbs.
Compared to HID bulbs syempre that's another story. HID bulbs have higher lumens compared to Halogens. kahit anong color temp pa ng HID.

question po
1. yung P900.00 po pair na ba yon? or 1 piece lang.
2. when you say 50% more light throw, ibig sabihin ba e yng 60/55 e parang 90/80 watts ang light throw?

buknoy,
1. 900 pair na yun
2. Not really sure since i haven't actually compared it to a 90/80 watt bulb pero comparing it to stock there is an improvement.

...u know any shops dito sa may south na nagbebenta nyan osram silverstars? right now im hunting for philips diamondvision HB4 (9006). problem? ang hirap maghanap ng HB4!
...the shops are offering me those korean and taiwanese made superwhites na sobrang mura but i didn't bite the offer dahil alam ko pundi agad yun.
...is it really advisable to convert to the real deal HID on a stock headlight housing? unlike those xenon equipped high end cars, projector type self levelling yung housing kaya concentrated yung beam so di masakit sa mata. unlike those stock housing that's reflectorized, once nag HID eh parang floodlight sa liwanag.

I'm using Narva on my Pajero. Osram is ok too pero Narva ang in stock sa shop ng friend ko.
Raybrig is a good brand. They come from Stanley (the guys who make OEM headlamps and taillamps for most cars today. Ang problema, sobrang daming FAKE na Raybring ngayon. Pati yung Raybrig na rooflamp wala nang orig (may brown na sulat sa lamp housing and maganda ang box). Puro fake na din.
