If this will just be a bolt-on affair, the Nightbreakers. That should be a level up from stock.

If you want to go with HIDs, get projectors. The Morimoto mini H1 install is relatively bang for the buck, powerful and undoable.

The EK headlight is quite big, so it should be glaring all over the place.

Agree with IMm29. Also IMO, a properly retrofitted hid+projector will out-perform any nightbreakers kahit na yung mga aftermarket lang na morimoto MH1 or MD2S. Wala pang glare sa on-coming traffic. But if you have extra cash you can go full OEM for maximum output.

thank you for all the replies.. much appreciated. Got to see ONB Plus from, my friends car, and the color is brighter, but close to stock.
How about this HID kit? (seems like a common brand here)

would this be ok, or would this glare all over the place? thank you for the education given

    You'll need to retrofit it.

You're not getting the picture bro.
It's not about the brand or quality of the HID lights you'll put into your car that'll determine if it will glare or not.
It is the housing or the headlight that will do.

Put those HID lights onto a reflector bowl and you'll see glare and blind oncoming traffic.
Put those HID lights onto a proper HID projector and you'll find the light.

If you have halogen projector, you can actually put those HID inside them but output won't be as good.

OT: By the looks of it, the car pictured on your HID kit has the bulbs inside a reflector housing. Look at all the glare it is giving

Noob question.. But will hid still give as much glare if the headlight is already smoked? Since everythings blacked out aside for the reflector bowl?

    Eg.
