I bought my kit through a Group Buy with the local reseller from The Xenon Store. I am not located in the Philippines but in Canada, but the Xenon Store does ship internationally. I bought their Xtec H7 5000K conversion kit. At the time I bought it I only paid $375 CDN (about P16500), but since it was a Group Buy, that price was for a limited time only.

The kit is easy to install. Simply unplug the wiring harness from the factory bulbs, remove the bulbs from the housing, install the HID bulbs into the housing and connect the kit's wiring harness and ballasts into the factory wiring harness. That's it. I read in another forum that one person installed the kit within 20 minutes. Not having daytime running lights (like my car) makes things so much easier.

I was recently in the Philippines (came back on Valentines Day) and I remember seeing the kits that they had at Concorde in Megamall...I'd stay away from those.

    Why?

There are several brands available here like McCullough and Xenon Bulbs, don't know if they're good, ever hear of them?... am considering getting one in the near future, just making sure before making a purchase.

McCullough is an excellent brand. If I were you I would stick to a European brand or one that uses European parts (Philips, McCullough, etc). The Xtec kit is uses some European parts as well as Japanese parts. The main reason why I bought the XTec kit was because of the price, but also the warranty...5 years versus 3 years.

Kung naka budget kayo why don't use PIAA extreme whites, Phillips or Osram those are halogen pero malinaw din sa gabi at okay sa ulan. I used the Sylvania Silverstars which is Phillips or Osram sa Asia or Europe. Here is a good link for lighting http://www.danielsternlighting.com/.

hmmm... iniisip ko kasi magpalit din in the near future that's why I went to them recently and asked about their price. around 20K ang binigay sa 'kin.

anyone out there nagpakabit na sa Xenon-bulbs? Feedback naman oh...

    TIA!

I tried the Osram bulbs that USDM Legacy GT mentioned. They made a big difference compared to the stock bulbs on my Mazda3. The bulbs are clear, but are of the same wattage as the regular bulbs, but they throw more light on the road. Any halogen bulb with a bulb colour on the glass will look whiter, but throw less light on the road where it counts.

Personally, i don't like the light output of xenon-bulbs.. parang ang hina as compared to the two sets na nagkaroon ako (XTec at Genki).... although cheap talaga siya IMO marami pa ibang brands jan na maganda.... ano ba gusto mong color? dami dami na lumabas jan pero hirap pumili kung ano ang "the best" ....

honestly, baka meron lang ako thing against xenon-bulbs because i find the owner of the shop very very arrogant.. sobrang yabang ng dating niya eh... pero ewan ko hehe :D maybe was just able to talk with him on bad dayS ...

wow ang galing, AFAIK 1 year warranty ng mga HID kits sa pinas, meron palang 3 years and 5 years! saan ka nakakakuha ng deals na ginyan?

can you elaborate on your headlight kit? Did you upgrade your wires? Since your front windshield is tinted even a High output Halogen Bulb wouldn't be enough, have medium dark tints install on my windshield kahit naka Osram Silverstar ako di ko masyado feel yung difference. Better consider HIDs... although pricey, it could be a worthwhile investment more so if you drive often at night.

5000K is the output of the Sun... anything below becomes yellowish, anything over it becomes purple.

i think the best k for hid is 5000k. some people use 8000k that's why pagumulan, useless na. i have 8000kk on my xtrail n crv but i used 6000kk sa rexton. above 5000k is good pag walang ulan and it looks cool. xenon sa araneta i think is overpriced n madami lang advertisement kaya dami may alam but i think the taiwan brands are same. they even now have malaysia and koreans.
