Does anybody have an idea if maka cause nang CEL warning if I replace my stock T15 reverse light with a LED? It's for a strada btw. thanks.

I dont think so. But yung lighting output is another question. I don't think it will serve the purpose of illuminating the back end of your pick up when you're reversing.

Thanks for that input sir gary. I have a dark tint, hence my interest in upgrading my reverse lights.
I have two options for the reverse lighting.
1. Install a led light bar connected to the reverse lamp or
2. Install reverse camera and change my reverse light bulb into led.
No.2 option I think is budget friendly for me dahil bili lang ako nang aftermarket reverse camera and connect it into my stock multi-media display.

this is the led i was planning to buy (11w T15). My stock bulb specs is 16(w16w). I'm not sure what is the lumen difference though.

CEL is usually for euro cars which measure resistance to know if a bulb burnt out. "normal" jap brands don't have this.

also +1 on option 2 esp. camera na lang kulang. baka nga di na rin kailangan ng LED bulb

I'm using this type (no side-LEDs):


It's brighter than stock, but not necessarily better since focused yung beam padiretso instead of being scattered. Personally, I find it helpful since I can estimate the distance of a wall through the projected "circle" beam. I've also tried the non-projector LEDs, they're useless haha.

Btw, check that your tail lamp reverse doesn't have a diffuser. Otherwise, useless yung projector ng LED

my experience with this kind of led peanut bulb is that they easily gets busted. only lasts a couple of months... at least for those that i buy from ace hardware...
