i've been wanting to have auxiliary lights installed on my civic vti 98. dami kasi lubak sa amin and mahirap makita with just the headlights. marami ako nakikita sa mga car accessory shops na lights. pero ang dulo wires lang.
while tinkering kahapon, i saw 2 wires behind my front bumpers. seems these are for installing the lights.
1. is installing these lights just as simple as ikakabit ko lang sa wires?
2. when do they turn on/off? kapag naka-on ba headlights, on na rin ito or basta start ang kotse, naka-on na rin?
3. what if i want a switch for turning them on/off?
4. if i get one from evangelista, sila na ba magkakabit?
sorry, hindi talaga ako knowledgeable sa cars. many thanks

1. Yes, they are mounted by scres
2. They are supposed to have power only when the parklamaps or headlamps are on (this is the law in other markets). But having power does not mean that it is 'ON'. It only means that they will turn on when you push the on switch.
3. A switch is supposed to be included with the auxillary lights. Even those Taiwan made ones.
4. In Banawe and Araneta they will install for you. Maybe in Evangelista, too.
