    headlight aiming ba?

dun sa engine bay sa likod ng headlights meron dun yung parang tansan na iikutin mo to aim the headlights. Di ko lang alam kung ano proper specs kung paano i-aim yun.

Try posting this question at HCP and the EG owners can help you there

share ko sa iyo kung pano inadjust yung headlight aim ng pajero namin,i got d info dito rin sa net. anyway, after u locate ur adjusting screws, both vertical and horizontal. place ur car as near as a wall or gate as possible.d gate or wall will serve as ur "focusing board." then, look for d center of each of ur headlights(usually may mark naman ito sa headlight mismo whether a prism or other things); then place a mark on d wall (such as a dot or x) corresponding to such headlight center.den look 4 d central location of ur vehicle (ur honda emblem on d hood is a good point) and also place a mark on d wall.connect all these points using a ruler by drawing a horizontal line.after this, draw a parallel line 3 inches below d first line u drew. den back ur car 25 feet and adjust ur headlight aim as necessary. dpat yung brightest spots ng headlight mo(d part of d beam which usually slants up as seen on d wall) must fall on d dots corresponding 2 d headlight center points u drew on d lower line(d line 3 inches lower).after dat, try mo driving at night kung ok na yung headlight aim. u must adjust d headlights in d low beam position, d high beam will automatically be adjusted kac d naman quad-lamp ang setup ng civic esi hth :D

Frank, kung kapareho ng sa ek tama si Sup...

bali sa likod ng hl assembly may dalawang parang tansan. one aims yung vertical focus and the other one for the horizontal focus. sa ek yung mas malapit sa grille ang vertical and yung malapit sa wiper reservoir (left side) is for horizontal.

use a philips screw driver, ilusot mo sa parang tansan and kapain mo na lang kung clockwise or counter. makikita mo naman kasi gagalaw yung reflectorized part nung hl mo.

dati eto din kasi problem ko may nag post (forgot the board though) complete with pictures.

sa proper aim naman, for philippine roads (and all left-hand drives), your left hl should be focused a bit lower and inwards (to the center) to prevent "blinding" oncoming vehicles. your right hl should be aimed higher and outward so that you will be able to read road signs and see pedestrians crossing at night.

    hope this helps

    wrecker,

isa lang kasi yung nakalitaw na nakikita ko.

this weekend try kong baklasin yung buong headlight assembly para hanapin yung "2nd tansan" sabay linis na rin.

    btw, thanks for the info.
