Glare to on coming vehicles and burnt reflector bowls ang outcome nun. mas ma init ang HID bulb compare sa halogen kaya high temperature paints ang gamit if you want painted housing if nag retrofit ka nang HID projector. Its sad, but a lot of people still install HID bulbs on a non projector housing. Solution: Buy a new/2nd hand headlight or magpa retrofit ka. you can go to redline auto works. http://www.facebook.com/redlineautoworks or gary quizon of http://www.facebook.com/HidRetrofit.net. Both offer professional service for retrofitting.

1. mejo mababa aim nya ( can be a result din in a not so good bulb installation) 2. Maliwanag lang sya pag malapit, pero pag 2-4 cars ang layo ng titignan mo hindi makita. mahirap lalo pag bumabyahe ka form cavite to manila at night or NLEX SLEX,

Solutions are A) stick with the Halogen bulbs, kung ayaw mong masunog ung reflectors mo get the recommended wattage. either Osram nb+ or the phillips counterparts will definitely give you a boost in lighting without having to change the wirings of your car. B) Save up a little and get a HID Projector Retrofit .

im no expert but parang yung chrome coatings on your reflector (low beam) is probably damage. you can return to using a halogen bulb to avoid more damage to the reflector bowl but i think you cant get the same output na as before on your low beam, but thats better than nothing. As mr. maharot said, if budget is tight ngayun, you can save some cash until such time you can buy even a stage1 retro.

your usual 35W HID vs also your usual 55w halogen.

afaik, higher wattage bulbs produces higher heat by product,
thus, making the HID run cooler.

your right sir 7138. HID bulbs have less heat compare to halogen bulbs. sorry for the miss info and thanks for the correction. I think i should have said UV radiation caused the chrome reflector discoloration,

Been running for almost a year on H4 55W HID, wala namang nasunog.

You yourself can compare, isang HID sa left isang halogen sa right.

Take note, both are top auto lamp manufacturers and dalawang yan and if you don't know, both are Europeans. Maka gusto mong i-extend farther ang iyong pagbabasa.

ikaw na nag sabe na ang 100w-120w bulb ay hindi street legal at pang off road lang.. mind you that bosch also have that kind of bulbs.. bakit kaya sila nagbebenta ng ganyan?? point is use them properly..

Ang meron lang sila is d2s, d1s, d3s and the likes.

Actually ang 100w-120w is not street legal, pre. Pang off-road lang yan.
