HID headlamps with 'strobe' option?

Meron po ba talagang ganito? I heard about it a while back and now I think we can use something like this for one of your units.

Or do you think I should just get a GALLS wig wag system currently selling for around Php3,500 at Station54 Banawe? Then just maintain the stock halogens.

im quite interested in this strobe light din.. but may i ask if this is 'legal' for private vehicles? siyempre a strobe light is still a strobe light.. which pinag-babawal na sa private cars diba?

AFAIK, they are still legal for off-road use. So having them in itself is not supposed to be a violation.

Don't know what local enforcing agencies would say though. Since they like to snoop around our cars as if it were their own sometimes. Plus our laws are outdated and outmoded in this aspect.

i have encountered this on motocycles and they are flashed with courtesy high beams. at first i thought the bumpy road does the strobe.

if the hid strobe changes color, then you are seeing the prismed cutoff. a different color of the rainbow on different levels at the top cutoff. it could also be the projector solenoid toggling the shield.

I remember seeing it in a catalog (emergency lights) years back, often used in the US by law enforcers in unmarked vehicles. Let me check if I still have the catalog.
