I have an XTec kit that I bought locally, but I did see at available at a hardware store in the top level of Shangri-La Mall when I was in Manila recently. Xtec comes with a lifetime warranty but, if I remember correctly, is somewhat expensive (P20,000 I think).

Nice, lifetime warranty. i'll try to find that brand

I went to Banawe and saw different brands like Blesk, Helios, Plasma, Mcculloch. Also they have diferent mechanism for having high beam thru up and down movement of the bulb, forward and back, some have halogen bulb as their bright.

Check out Philips or Osram... in the world of automotive lighting these two brands are on the top 2.

Philips, ive heard some of the Hid kits uses philips bulbs and ballast, the only problem is they "rebase" it for it to fit (ex. h1-h4). Some would also say that philips does not truly make a conversion kit but rather have the 2 on them (refering to the bulb and ballast).

I was eyeing on buying mcculloch HID, because it was US made and AFAIK does not use push type mechanism... Namamatay ba? bakit kaya?

I was also thinking of that problem for push type mechanism......
