    here is my headlight

newbie lang po.. sorry.. kaya i would just like to ask.. kasi yung camry (second gen) ko.. nakastock HID sha.. so pag ino- on ko yung Headlight ko.. yung HID yung LOW ko.. so sa picture yung naka GREEN circle lang ang umiilaw.. then pag HIGH naman yung nakacircle na RED (halogen) and GREEN (HID) yung umiilaw.. so question is.. pag bumili ba ko ng bagong HID.. kaylangan 2 pairs?? kasi gusto ko din ipa HID na yung HIGH beam ko.. or pwede na yung binebentang HI/LOW na HID?? correct me if im wrong.. pero ang plan ko kasi is HI/LOW ko sana is naka HID.. which means yung nakacircle ng RED at GREEN is magiging HID na.. panu kaya diskarte dyan mga sir? naguguluhan ako kung kaylangan ba 2 pair ang bilhin ko o yung isang pair lang na HI/LOW...

AT.. if ever ba yung lumang HID na nakainstall now sa projector HL ko.. pwede ko ba ikabit sa FOG lights ko yun?? para ndi naman masayang? hehe
    TIA..

I believe that your low beam has H3 bulbs, while your hi-beam is an H4 or H7 type.

His low beam bulbs are definitely not H3. Most probably it's D2S or other HID projector specific bulb. High beam is most probably 9005, H1 or other bulbs commonly used in high beams.

All he needs to buy is one set of HID to replace the Halogen high beam. Then all is set na. High and low beam are all HID na.

Hopefully, this guy does use his HID responsibly.

Actually, you don't need to adjust your headlights if all you are going to change are the high beams. Your car came stock with HID projectors naman and these are aimed properly so hindi ito nakakasilaw. Mkakasilaw ka lang if you use your Highbeams unnecessarily. So what you should do, aim your low beam properly first to factory specs then proceed with the installation of HID high beam.

Usually new Japanese cars use D2S bulbs for the OEM Equipped HID. Projector type or Reflector Type.

Then they use HB3 for the high beam.

    Ganyan sa CR-V ko.

    Sa Corolla Altis 2.0V.

    Sa Civic 2.0S / 2.0S-L.

thanks for the tips mga sir.. actually napapaisip na nga ako ngayon. hehe looking at the fogs nga.. para nalang sha display light.. walang kabuga buga.. kaya naisipan ko ipaHID.. baka sakaling maging useful. pero what if hindi padin maganda ang buga. sayang lang ang HID.. hehe owell.. cguro papakabitan ko muna ng magandang brand na all weather bulb.. i'll see from there. =)

anu ba bagay na kulay ng park light para sa camry? with that set up ng light? parang gusto ko blue led.. kaso parang baduy.. haha what do you think?
    Alam mo kung bakit?

Hindi sa harapan ang buga ng fogs. Usually sa side. Pure yellow halogen bulbs lang katapat nyan.
    ------

Ganda nyan. Dapat decent looks. Camry pa naman yan, 3.0V V6 ba?

    Pwede rin 'to

yun nga sir.. sa side po yung buga niya. tapos super walang kwenta. haha as in line lang na manipis.. thats it. kaya nakakadisapoint, kasi may nakikita ako na ibang kotche na yung fogs nila though hindi nakakasilaw pag kasalubong mo pero super ganda ng buga. anyways, its a camry 2.4 sir, may nagsasabi nga i-JDM looks ko daw.. kaso hindi ko din naman alam anu yung looks na yun.. haha

actually yung picture na sinend mo sir is yung target ko na looks.. haha simple but elegant..

a.) HIDs on your highbeam isn't really recommended as HIDs are not meant to be flashed(sudden on/off). Kaya naman but I think mas mabilis masisira

b.) Should you decide to proceed with what you want, FYI, your High Beam is a separate bulb by itself(as you pointed it out). So you only need to buy one set of HID. Your low beam will be left as is. And what you will be getting is a single beam HID which will be installed on your high beam. Not High Low HID(hi/lo HIDs are for cars with one pair of bulbs only). Gets?

c.) The bulb of your low beam and foglamp is different. So no, you can't transfer your HID low beam to the foglamp.

Nope. No need to touch anything sa low beam. And the only thing you can do with low beam is change the bulb to a bluish or yellowish bulb. that's it.

Another option would be to retrofit a bi-xenon projector.

    ahh ok ok.. thanks sir..
nasilip ko na yung bulb type ko..
lowbeam = D2S/H7 (same lang ba to?? hehe)
    hign beam = HB3
    fogs = HB4

ang HB3 ba at H3 or HB4 at H4 ba ay iisa lang?? any difference?

    TIA

Low beam is D2S. D2S and H7 are different.
    High beam - HB3 a.k.a. 9005
    fogs - HB4 a.k.a. 9006

hb3 is different from h3, hb4 and h4 are different.

So this is what you need to buy, HB3 HID kit for your high beam. If gusto mo pati fog lamps buy an HB4 HID kit as well.

    hmmmmmm. eto payo ko lang

yung low beam mo gusto mo palitan ng hid? ibang kulay ba prefer mo kasi if galing casa yan 35w 4300k yan for sure. not sure if d2s or d4s gamit nyan kung di ka magpapalit ng ibang kulay like 6000k or 8000k wag mo na palitan.

now for the high beam yeah walang prob if papa hid mo pwede ka pumili between 35w or 50w.
