bluish white light gets absorbed by rain. Better to use bulbs with some yellow... standard halogen bulbs do. Its probably cheaper just to upgrade to OSRAM 100 or 120 watt bulbs and ceramic sockets than buying those expensive blue, rainbow, ultra-white bulbs.

all weather and vision+ are yellow =)
if i changed to osram 100w or 120w plus the ceramic sockets, wont the lens melt or form bubbles from heat?
All weather hence its name, project yellowish hue overband. To be able to use on foggy and or rainy weather.
Yung gusto mong mix ng blue, yellow an white is called rainbow bulbs. Dati may lumabas na bulbs. But as far as I could remember, there used to be a plastic that is in place before the halogen bulb to change its colors.
jondy::: All-weather, blue-vision and etc. bulbs are only 55/60W bulbs. The package may indicate 130/100, 135/110 and etc for marketing reasons. You should be able to check the actual wattage of your bulbs at the base stamped and voltage use.
Aux driving lamps can also be changed, provided that there is an aftermarket bulb that can fit in. Most common bulbs used are either H1 or H3 types.
so any other xwind users out there that had upgraded their headbulbs?
im currently using visionplus... but im not yet quite satisfied bcoz i have tints on my windshield and i want a much more brighter headlights... no white headlights...
gamit ko sa hilux s ung Catz 85/80 i thnk pero sa case nya indicates output of 170/160 na parang marketing reasons lng ata.
but to compare it with philips/osram na gamit ko nuon malaki din ang difference. medyo pricey nga lang ung catz
imo stay away from taiwan bulbs. gamit ko before were those pure whites na before ng 1 year isa ay busted the other nabasag. i had to clean the headlight casing pa.

Hey,
may I ask something? Did you changed your "Headlamp" wiring harness? or wiring system?
Coz a co-employee of mine who changed his Nissan Sentra's headlamp experienced his "HEADLAMP Socket" being burned out. Malakas at mainit daw, hindi kaya ng Sentra. The default socket wattage is 55 watts.
Dapat daw palitan ang wiring harness....so did you?
parang sakin ang ganda ng blue/white color bulbs tlagang malinawag. pero parang ang init... d ko lam un stock headlights ng rav eh pero gusto ko sya lagyan ng blue/white if hindi sana kamahalan...

Nissan OEM sockets burn out easily when you upgrade to higher wattage bulbs and relays... Change to Bosch ceramic sockets, ayus na yan.
