Is it really necessary for us to put in a relay when we upgrade our headlights to higher wattages?
As far as I've researched, they only replace the sockets to ceramic and that's it.
What are relays for? Is it necessary when you upgrade the wattage for the headlights? Or do you just need ceramic sockets?
    Please enligthen me. TIA

If your upgrading from the stock 55/65 watts to 100/90 watts dapat mag relay talaga. Ma susunog yung wiring mo if wala kang relay. But you can get those 65/55 watts with output of 100watts kaya medyo mahal ng konti.

Para sa akin mag hid ka nang alot better. Old skul na kasi yung relay at wiring harness thins sa headlights ngayon

    1. HID's are kinda of expensive 8k a pop for hi/low combination
    2. Since the Vti's headlights are not designed for HID, glare would be inevitable.
    3. Pundihin ang HID pag hindi kilala yung brand.

These are my top three reasons why i do not opt for HID. Thanks for the reply thou.

If you'll be installing hi-wattage bulbs..

better install thicker and hi-rated wires and relays..

    ARB Super Loom set

It is supposed to give up to 25% more power to your existing headlights while using your original wiring. It simply plugs in & reduces voltage drop apparently & allows you to fit higher wattage globes.

the greyish diamond vision philips will not work well. even with a new relay. ang hina talaga. unless your van throws light like the altis, vios or new strada.

better replace it with vision plus.

Headlight Relay, Ceramic Sockets, High Wattage bulbs questions.
