question...
wouldn't using bulbs rated higher than the standard ones blind / glare incoming traffic (in low beam).
I've seen a few of these... and they are just VERY annoying (those in high beam).

i'm replacing mine kasi emdyo talo talaga when raining or in asphalt roads. d naman yung parang mga halogen na super nag-a-attract ng attention :D
feeling pogi lang yung mga yon. dinaan nalang sa light bulbs![]()
I have been doing quite some searching and learned that Raybrig is made by Stanley, which makes most OEM bulbs and headlights/brakelamps etc.
Interesting... So I would assume that Raybrig is a very good brand, however from what i've read it seems to be quite expensive.
Check this link also if you are planning to buy some aftermarket bulbs other than Philips, Osram/Sylvania.

as far as i know..yep.yung mga cars namin nababago ang aim.yung vitara inadjust ko na kasi kahit naka low beam, daming nagmumura sa kasalubong ko.tiningnan ko..naka aim pala talaga sa mukha ng kasalubong.hihihihihihihiOriginally Posted by mazdamazda

IMO, most of the glare is caused by:
- improper aiming
- Headlight design (usually Honda Civic/CRV ang napansin ko), they produce more glare to oncoming traffic even on low beam with stock bulbs.
- Surplus headlights designed for RHD ---> they carry a beam pattern opposite of what we have.
- naka bright lagi talaga (usually Galant, Accord at Starex ang napansin ko na ganito)... with running fog lights pa.
Question. The ALTIS and CRV Gen2 Foglamps seem to be useless. Why is this so? or mali lang talaga ang aim ng Foglamps ko?![]()
have you tried using them when there's a fog?Originally Posted by bougartt

i think they r purposely aimed low ataOriginally Posted by bougartt
Hmm, baka naman dahil mas maliwanag din kasi yung bulbs ng mga yan. Accord kasi sakin, pero wala naman ako napapansin na nasisilawan. Yun lang nga stock pa rin yung lights ng sakin. Baka pag napalitan ng aftermarket madagdagan yung glare....Originally Posted by vinj
Most of my driving is at night, pansin ko talaga na madaming vehicles ang medyo malakas ang glare, pero sa iba wala, cguro nagupgrade ng bulbs to 80/100 watts yung mga yun, o di kaya malabo rin mata ko... hehe
where do you usually purchase your bulbs, lalo kung wala sa parts dealer? yung store na complete when it comes to bulbs...
Yes, from adjusting rim/tire size, modifying ride height, even minor screw blunders with the headlight assembly could adjust and misalign the beam pattern.Originally Posted by mazdamazda
I know one tsikoteer who got his ride straight from the dealer with misaligned headlights. He did brought it back to have it fixed, but the dealer said it was in normal alignment, even though oncoming traffic was flashing bright everytime.![]()

Their main purpose is to aid main headlight beam. Not as fog lamps, hence called or referred to as auxiliary driving lamps.Originally Posted by bougartt
Re-adjusting the beam would either blind on coming traffic or perform less light than it has now. Based form experience with headlights & bulbs, as long as the assembly is small, don't expect too much light to come out of it. Even switching higher wattage bulbs won't help either.
sana pina-overtake ninyo yung city, then pwesto sa likod nya at mag-high beamOriginally Posted by mazdamazda

Oh, oopsiesThanks sir ungas, bluebimmer.
I have no idea how to quote here, baguhan ako dito
So its better off for me to install those Hella Foglamps than use these Auxilary lamps?
