nakakaapekto ba to sa buhay ng headlight bulb? parang may nagsabi ata dito na mabilis mapundi pag meron nitong relay. nakakalakas daw to ng output (doble ata) ng headlamp. nakakalabo rin ba to ng lente ng headlights? balak ko kasi maglagay nito tapos super white bulbs, para mukhang HID. mahal kasi masyado HID. salamat salamat sa inyow

    paltik,
Haven't heard of a headlight booster.
pag nagtaas ka ng wattage ng bulbs you need to upgrade the wires to a thicker one. almost all vehicles have relays installed for their headlights. I have gone from 55/60 OEM to 90/100 with no wire upgrades, but then again this depends on how old the vehicle is.

BTW, are you a member of pinoydvd?

better opt for an additional engine grounding kit to boost the whole electrical system

OT - ah ok. if you're into DVDs, pinoydvd.com is a forum about it. may friend ako dun with the handle paltik.

Back to the topic. I guess the ballast will increase the current running to the bulbs hence increasing it's brightness. Increasing the voltage could damage it.

pwede mangyari matunaw ang headlight socket or pati ung wire..but based on experience dati sa civic vti ko from 55/60 to 90/100 wala nasira, depends on the quality of the wiring and sockets na rin cguro.
ngaun sa bimmer from stock 55w H7 to 100w H7 X 4, wala rin naman nasira, maybe cos hella maganda quality.

    fastlove:

yung harness mo sa headlight, kit ba yun? or did you get the items per piece? Was wondering where did you find yung male plug ng headlamp. Anyways, did you use only 2 relays for both L/R lamps, or 2 for each?

    More info please . . .

guys is it possible na mangitim ung reflectors ng headlight if i wear to change from lower wattage like 55w to higher one like 100w without changing/adding relays? if i do change/add relays will it still damage my reflectors?

JV: Yes, because of the heat generated. Also you'd have to change to ceramic sockets so that it won't melt.

so even if i put on relays, yung possible pa rin na mangitim yung reflectors ko?
how much would it cost, yung ceramic sockets?

how much ba muna yung booster nya? kasi me, i got an ipf headlight upgrade with ballst, the wattage of my headlights are 11ow/170w. maliwanag na ito, i only opgraded my socket para sure since malakas n hot kung hi beam ako. it cost me arnd 7k, now if it will be more expensive han 7k, i suggest mag ipf upgrade ka nalang, la na wire upgrade.

nagloloko yung right side headlamp ko... paminsan napaka hina ng ilaw (halos wala), BOTH low and high beam. Ok naman yung sa driver side.

naka wiring harness ako with 2 relays. suspetsa ko sira yung isang relay ko... any feedback?

I was wondering kasi kung yung mga wiring harness is wired in such a way that one relay is for the left headlight and one is for the right. OR is it one relay is for low beam and one for high beam?

    thanks in advance...

headlight booster/relay setup - advisable ba?
