hello peeps

how do you restore headlights to its original clean and shiny look? my ride is a honda civic and mejo dumidilim na headlights ko. sa banawe may mga nagaalok na linisin daw ang headlights. may lalagay daw sila na chemical na i've never heard. are they any good? tnx in advance!

sa banawe siguro d'best na cleaning solution lang yun hehe yung tinitinda dyan sa tabi... pwede naman DIY yan eh.. yun lang nga medyo mabusisi. Ok dyan kay chieffy meet him and had my vehicle undercoated sa kanya.. madali pang kausap.

the way chieffy cleaned the headlights he removed the silicon?? di ba delikado yun? I cleaned mine but I puor water inside and use blower after wards.

may nabasa ako threand nito si theeved nag post hanapin ko nga.....................basta ang naalala ko using mild water, soap and alcohol yun ginamit nya................

What we usually do (i learned this from Gleenster) was we first rinse the inside with some detergent for a couple of times. Next, we fully drain it then rinse with clean water... then we put some cotton inside along with a little H2o so that the cotton can clean against the lens.

What i have a hard time doing is removing the headlights in some cars. Some need to have the bumpers removed before the headlights can be removed.

The drying part should also be done well. Rinse the housing well to make sure that theres no detergent residue then try to dry it with a hairdryer then sun dry for around half a day.

I also tried it on our TOyota Corolla AE111. Madali lang tanggalin yung headlight nito, no bumper removal needed.

Chieffy, i did not remove the housing or lens anymore. just water, detergent, then cotton after a thorough rinsing.
